...for an important weather p-update.
Amber here, resident Meteorologist here at Army of Four Headquarters. After a terribly long period of horrible 60-70 degree weather, it is my pleasure to report that my prediction from yesterday was right on target. At this writing, our temps are a lovely 10 degrees Fahrenheit, wind-chill is 4 below, and we have about an inch of snow on the ground. Ah! Sweet bliss!
It's still coming down a little bit; isn't that great!? While Zim and I were out there trying to get a few photos to show you, I thought I smelled something else!
Hmm... Zim, do you smell that?
Zim smelled the same thing I did. Mom thought I was picking up the scent of more snow - but that wasn't it! Do you know what it was? Or should I ask who it was?!?
OSWALD!
He's hunkering down under the Mugho. Mom made us leave him alone. Spoil sport! :)
Love,
Ammy
PS: Storm and Dave were tagged by our lovely friend Ransom. We haven't forgotten - they'll get to it next week - promise!
My weather spies in OP told me about the snow...
ReplyDeleteI hoped woo had gotten some too!
I 'might' but as Ammy knows, woo khan't trust those bipeds!
Enjoy it!

we're so excited for you!!!! Paws crossed that you get lots more.

P.S. Is that a wagging tail that we see?
Wow! That's Pawsome! I am so happy for your snow, if only 1-2 inches. Georgia might get some tonight. I can hardly wait. John and Kelly say I can't go run around in it if it comes, but they didn't say anything about ZOOMIES! Keep your paws crossed!

Oswald and snow. What an exciting day. We're glad you didn't get Oswald though. We've grown kind of attached to him.
ReplyDeleteHi Guys
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting us and offering to help. You look like a good army to have on our side. Bailey might need help!!!
I am glad that snow is there for you but hope it stays with you!
You enjoy the cold weather - you're all dressed for it!

Yes! We are supposed to get some tonight and tomorrow, too, and we are hoping. Our little patch of snow we are protecting from the snow thief is getting really, really small. And it is raining today. Lots and lots of rain. Get colder!
ReplyDeleteSnow? Well it is supposed to get cold here too, but no snow.It will leave the 80's though, that is good news for me, Mom isn't too happy though...

How exciting! You finally got snow! Hope it sticks around for awhile! And it's a very good thing that you left Oswald alone too!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I noticed what the Missouri boy said in the comment above. Whatever!
I sent that snow, we got a little tired of it here (by "we" I mean the furless ones) I hoped it would make it to you... enjoy ;)

How wonderful that you got a measly inch of snow! I only hope you get several many more PLUS from us, those wonderful sub-zero temperatures that make your teeth rattle when you are outside. I am working on plans for my Northern Dog Hotel for next winter.

Hey AO4, c'mon over - we got closer to four or five inches and TD really needs someone who wants to run and romp in the snow. It is bitter cold here too. Mom took most of our pics from inside - wussy MOM.

Ahhh...we were blessed with snow down in our neck of woods, too! The Spokeswoman was complaining, but the middle Ninja and I were utterly delighted to get yet another chance to play in the snow! I was afraid we might not be getting any more this year!
ReplyDeleteWow! Can you send some to me? :)
ReplyDeleteMochi

ReplyDeleteToo bad about not being able to "play" with Oswald, but our humom says she's furry impressed woo actually leave Oswald alone, & that the poor bunny wouldn't stand a chance in our yard)
Have fun in the snow! We got a little bit, too!

Star & Jack a-roo
oh we have Oswald's relatives here in the back garden. They don't have a condo or anydog fancy stuff though, just what we call here "a semi detached" kinda hole shaped thing.
ReplyDeleteI get so mad looking at the smug pair of Oswalds out of my long window at the back, I have to be let out to take a run and a bark at them.
Sadly, they move too quickly for me. They sure are fast on their blooomin' feety feet, I can bark to you.
We have no snow now. Some Snow Thief has taken it.

Woo for you guys, I am glad you are getting some proper Sibe weather. I bet Oswald isn't quite as excited as you guys.
ReplyDeleteOh Ammy, I'm so glad to hear that the weather has taken a turn for the better! It's over 50 degrees here today so I'll just have to live vicariously through everypup else.
ReplyDeleteKat
