Serene Scenery Sunday

Ha roo everypup and everykitty!  It's me, Zim, with some serene scenery for you!  First up are some photos from our garden.

Here are some blooms on our Juddi Viburnum:

They smell sweet and make Mom happy.  Same with our Old-Fashioned Lilacs, which are starting to bloom:

This is a pine cone in one of our Austrian Pines:

Our neighbors have these sweet, little flowers growing under a group of their pines:

They always make Mom smile; we pass them on our morning walks every day.

And here's one of our sunsets from during the week:

Take a closer look in the clouds:

It's a pair of UH-60/Black Hawks from nearby Fort Riley!  They've been flying past the house quite a bit and we love seeing and hearing them!  HOOAH from the Ao4!  Fly safe, soldiers!

Play bows,
Zim

  6. Wonderful garden photos! Are the dogs loving the spring or what? My Aussie is just having a blast running around the spring grass chasing the birds ( and a few kitties!) LOL

Thank you for stopping by my froggy blog entry. IT is always a blessing to come to your page.

  7. Thanks, Zim, for the pretty flowers, the pine cones and the Black Hawks! We would love to be where we would see our military guys flying!

We have had "just a little" snow every day since last Friday. It isn't sticking but it just still feels wintery!

    Kisses,
    Stella

    Thanks Zim,
We needed the serene photos today, it has otherwise been a solemn and sad day for us cuz our friend Honey went to The Rainbow Bridge yesterday. At the Navy base where dad's A-6 squadron was based there was a big sign on the highway by the road to the front gate that said "Pardon Our Noise; It's The Sound of Freedom." Thank the soldiers for their service.

  11. Hiya Zim,

We have some Viburnums over here, they have just finished flowering. Our human loves them and says they make a great informal hedge. We also have a Lilac that is just budding now so our human loves your flower choices.

    Love your paws pic...hehe

  20. Wow....gorgeous scenery Z-man! Our Mum loves lilac....that one has huge flowers? She almost got lost in your pretty sunset too! How cool that you get to see Black Hawks! We sometimes see Tornado jets and chinooks but mostly it's boring old noisy Nimrods.
The last shot is a peach....what an elegant gentledog you are!

  25. Beautiful...Mom is excited for her lilac to bloom soon but hers isn't the same kind as yours. As for the little purplish flowers under the pine Mom says they look like Phlox. :)

  29. My mom is supposed to plant some David Viburnum or something like that in our backyard. Do you think it will look the same? We could pretend that we have the same yard!
