Woo, everypuppy and everycat! It's me - Dave! Remember Zim and Ammy showed you the Amber Ocean? They've both been there and Zim even saw geese when he went! Well, yesterday Mom went with all of us guys (me, Zimmie and Dad!) to Anneberg Park so we could see what was going on!
When we first got there, we did a quick recon of the area. I spotted them first.
Geese!!! Zim! Geese!
It was very exciting! They were honking at us, and we were jumping around - it was so cool! Here's a very short video!
In all, there were three geese (two were from Canada and one was a local guy, I think) and a duck. We felt we had done our duty, chasing them into the Amber Ocean.
And just stay in there, you gooses! Umm... and duck.
Our goose & duck patrol being complete, we decided to walk Mom and Dad around the lake. Over on the other side, there's a jogging path. I saw a lady run by without hugging me. Without hugging me. Can you believe that?
Hey, lady? Don't you need a hug? Woo?
While my back was turned, Zim had that "zen" thing come over him. You know how he gets that inner calm that other animals find soooo appealing? That animal magnetism that pulls in everything from kitty cats to bunnies to letting other pups know they have nothing to worry about around him.
You're not going to believe who he lured all the way over to the other side of the Amber Ocean for a tête-à-tête. Seriously. Tune back in tomorrow for Serene Scenery Sunday to find out!
Luv,
Dave
PS: We have been honored to receive a couple awards from our friends recently - and we were tagged. We promise to get to these very important things this week!!!

I find it totally unbelievable that someone can walk past your adorable freckle face and not want to hug you Dave. What in the world was she thinking? Oh well, her loss!
ReplyDeleteThat was a furry short video! But I liked the sound those gooses made! I can't wait to know who Zim put the zen on!!
ReplyDeleteMya Boo Boo

That looks like so much fun! Zeke and Sushi love going to the park and looking for geese and ducks. They just wish they did not have to be on their leashes.
ReplyDeleteWaiting patiently for the sequel ...
I can't believe the nerve of that lady. She totally should have hugged you. Did Zim use his magnetism to make her come back and hug you?
ReplyDeleteKat

ReplyDeleteNala
Didn't seem like a lot of traffic, but someone must have gotten cut off with all of that honking. Hey, we had to use your joke back on you!
ReplyDeleteAnd how dare someone run by without a hug. We hate it when someone walks by and does not comment on our looks.
Khool park visit! Honk honk! That's great!
ReplyDeleteOh dave, she actually ran right by? Maybe she was just going too fast to see woo properly, I could NEVER walk by & not stop to hug woo (and throw in a snooter kiss or two, too)!
Can't wait to see the surprise! And congrats on your awards,
Woos,
Star

Big Sloppy Kisses
Gus, Louie and Callie
My goose didn't sound anything like that. Mom said it's hard to make stuffed geese sound like real ones though. She said my goose made more of a duck sound than a goose sound. Birds can be confusing somtimes!
ReplyDeleteKaos
I can't believe that lady jogged by and didn't hug you!
