Here are some petunias!
They hang on the underside of the upper deck, much like Bart. :) Mom also has a few pots of them on the lower deck; let's look at one of those:
Which color do you like better? (You can click any of these to go to our FlickR album for a larger view, if you'd like!)
Right in front of this part of the deck, in the garden, is a rose bush Aunt Janet sent us a few years ago.
Isn't it pretty? Oh - and Mom said that is the one picture in this post, first on our blog, that was taken with her new camera! Yea!
One of our Rose of Sharon bushes is blooming, but not the others.
The white ones bloom later - we don't know if it's because they're younger, in a little bit different part of the garden, or are a different variety. Maybe all of the above! We'll show you those when they bloom.
We also have some Becky Daisies blooming:
Here's a closer look:
I think this must be different from the other weeds in the garden, because Mom doesn't say bad things about these! :)
And last, but by no means least, here's my FAVORITE part of the garden:
Getting to PLAY in it! Ha roooooo! That's what makes me feel serene! I wish you could all come over and run, run, run in the garden with me and then we'd all feel serene!
Love,
Ammy

Your mom has great variety in her garden, Ams. We have a Rose of Sharon, white, and it's blooming now. The People ate green beans from our garden yesterday and peas, too! I don't eat anything from the garden. Blech!

We love all the flowers. The darker petunias are prettier to us. Love the daisies. Mom wants to know how your mandevilla is doing. We have two, one has flowers, one doesn't.
ReplyDeleteYour photographer does a great job.
woos, the OP Pack
Very pretty flowers. We'd post some of ours but Jan kills everything! The only flowers we have out there are a couple of vines in bushes that Jan planted in front of the porch several years ago. But the seeds never sprouted. So she can't figure out why they are suddenly on the side of the porch in bushes.
ReplyDeleteShe's glad to see them but her mother gave them to her a couple of years or so before she died. And she left us 3 years ago this Sept. So ....???
Beautiful, Ammy, every last bit of the garden, including YOU!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella

ReplyDeleteYour garden puts ours to shame......ours was looking ok, but sadly the weeds grow quicker than the blooming plants!
