Woo, everypuppy and everycat! It's me - Dave! Hey, remember just a little bit ago when our friend Stella wrote her 200th post? She had a drawing for prizes and we won one of them! Our package came in the mail yesterday and I just can't wait to tell you about it!
There was a toy in there for all of us - I'll show you that in a minute! AND there was ALSO a package that was from Stella to ME! Just me - Davy! Isn't that exciting!?!? The pictures of me reading the gift tag are too blurry, but after Mom helped me unwrap it, I took it in the living room. Look at what she sent!!!
A package of batik fabrics! Mom let me open the fabs up to get a better look at them before she washed them (she washes all of our fabric... I don't know why) - look at how cool they are:
Zim thought they were really cool and came over to check them out. As you can see in the picture above, he was totally excited -- that's why he's all blurry!
He gave them a thorough inspection. I'm Mom's Guide Dog for the Color Blind, but he is the Quality Control Officer. He gave them four paws up --- and really liked that blue one on the right. I told him it really goes well with his left eye; he seemed to like that.
Anywoo, we had quite the small 's' storm around lunchtime, but it cleared away and Mom said I could go test out the new toy Stella sent in the back yard! Woo! How exciting!
Here I am, checking it out:
I love that it's camo! It's so... us!
Here I am, taking it for a test run:
This toy is also great for a gentle game of tuggy-tug:
And lots of throwing and bringing back. Check me out - I'm airborne!
You can click that and go to FlickR for a bigger look. That goes for any of these yard pix.
The toy is sturdy enough to stand up to us (though I wouldn't trust the Jaws of Steel with it if she isn't actively engaged with Mom!) but soft enough that it won't hurt my teeth and stuff!
I like this next tuggy-tug shot; it's kind of artsy, with the really blue sky and one of my blue eyes showing!
We did lots more throwing and bringing back and I liked the toy so much that I forgot about being Siberian and just focused on the toy and Mom. Besides, Stormy just renewed my Siberian Husky status, so I'm good to go!
Speaking of being good to go...
What a great toy! And great, colorful fabrics! Thank you so much Stella and Stella's mom!
