Tail wags to all - it's me - Stormy! Yesterday was a full day at Ao4 HQs; I thought I'd fill you in on parts of it. The day started like most others - trips outside, breakfast at 0600, more trips outside... then I told Mom that Ammy said it was going to be a hot one, so we'd best get our walks in early!
Here is a shot of Ammy and me, checking out our yard.
She's pointing the iPhone at us, Ammy! Look away!
Please. Like she's going to trick us into looking at the camera. Any camera! I told Zim to be wary of her when Mom took him and Dave out; the boys did well - check 'em out:
Storm said not to look at Mom, Dave!
OK, Zimmie!
Anyway, Mom walked Ammy and Dave together. While out, Ammy checked the skies, of course, being the good, devoted Meteorologist that she is. I found this picture on the iPhone:
Looked good to me, but Ammy said trouble was cooking up in the atmosphere. (Speaking of cooking up, click here to see what was cooking up in our kitchen later on. Oh... and we didn't get ANY! Boo-hiss to adding chocolate!) Anyway... I digress.
Zimmie and I went next and had a delightful time together. He thought, based on some of the comments on yesterday's post, that some of you might enjoy this shot of our neighbor's garden:
Lovely, isn't it?
We all got plenty of exercise before the predicted heat set in, and Mom spent the afternoon working on those cookies. (Then Dad got back from golf and "helped her work on the cookies", too. Ha roo roo roo! Way to go, Dad!)
Late in the afternoon, Ammy's weather forecast panned out and before too long, our skies looked like this:
When she's right, she's right. This came next:
But Ammy also said it wouldn't last too long and that I shouldn't be worried. Based on her assessment, I remained calm. Sure enough, before night fell, our skies turned rather lovely! Check out the view to the south!
Ammy would have posted about this, since it's weather-oriented, but she's rather exhausted from all the forecasting, as you can imagine!
Tail wags,
Storms
WOW!

PeeEssWoo: Dear Ammy: I'll have sky pikhs on my Tuesday blog fur woo!
We are still focused on dad helping with the cookies. Sounds like a task for our hu-dad.
ReplyDeleteAmmy needs to rest up when she can - as the official forecaster, we know that she's on the alert 24/7.
ReplyDeletePrincess Eva
Oh, what beautiful skies!!! From what we hear you don't have very pretty ones there now and they are headed this way soon. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteTail wags, the OP Pack
A full day for the Ao4! I am surprised your Mom didn't leave the chocolate chips OUT of a few cookies so you could at least have a taste.
ReplyDeleteIts warm today for us and I get my walk in the evening. We like it when its a little cooler.
You can sure be proud of Ammy with her eyes on the skies! I wish I knew how to forecast but I just wind up getting scared if a storm comes.
Kisses,
Stella
Oh my, the pupparrazi is sooooo unbearable. Poor A04 never have a moments peace. they can't help their natural beauty. PEOPLE PLEASE, those iphone pix will cost you in cookies and bones!
ReplyDeleteIt seems the sky cooperates better than the sibe when it comes to posing!
Woo!
We are sorry that you are being relentlessy pursued by your camera woman - bad enough with a camera but now an iphone too!
ReplyDeleteWhat great pics it took though!
We know how hard it is to be so in demand for photo opportunities!
We loved the flowers - very pretty - we loved the rainbow - full of promise - and of course the sunset was very beautiful.
Good work guys - you sure do make a great team - even with the cookies!

You are always busy at A04!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful sky pictures you have.. You are quite the meteorologist.
ReplyDeleteMmm those cookies look so yummy.. The kind of look like mom's cereal nut cookies. She likes to add chocolate chips to those too...
She has to hide the dough from dad. He says she doesn't need to cook them they are great raw.. Silly Dad..
Big Sloppy Kisses

We're sure Ammy is really tired from all that forecasting but you did a great job of showing us the sky shots Storm! We heard there were horrible storms west of you today (our Grandpa was in the middle of it on I-70) - hopefully they don't come your way but only Ammy knows for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt's really cool how the sky looks like it has a hole in it. I mean the clouds. Not that the actual sky has a hole in it. I mean, that could never happen. Okay, Kat says I should be quiet now.
