We walked all over the place - checked some wildflowers, watched some golfers over on the course, sniffed every blade of grass -- you know, the basics! Then something captured my full attention!
Over there, Mom!
It was in this dead tree.
I was fascinated! I must have stood there staring for a good ten minutes!
Mom couldn't pull me away. It wasn't until something - or should I say "someone" else caught my attention that I was able to refocus my gaze.
That's right - her! I can't remember her name, sadly, but isn't she a babe!?!? Her mom didn't let her stop (she had her cell phone plastered to her ear!) but I've met her before. She's a Pit Bull/Border Collie mix and she's really sweet! I wish we had been able to exchange sniffies, and I think she wanted to as well, but her mom was "otherwise engaged". Easy come, easy go, I guess.
Anyroo, I got back to enjoying the ocean breezes and watching the water.
What a great day to be at the KS Ocean!
I'm sure she'll make up fur it soon!

I like oceans where you can see both shores! very purty!
ReplyDeleteso sad your friend's mom is on the phone. hope the poor gal gets more lovin' than that on her usual walks! doesn't anyone know how dangerous it is to walk a dog and talk on a cell phone at the same time? the danger is in a pulled arm socket when the doggie sees a pal or a bunny! woof!
Wild Dingo & Co.
You look handsome there Zim. :)
