I just use the Sad Eyes Look, AKA the Harp Seal Look, to tool stuff out of my mom and dad. I'm really quite the happy girl! But think about it - how often do your bipeds say, "Oh, you look so happy! Here -- have my ice cream"? Seriously. You need to use your talents to get what you want! That's what you've seen in some of the photos lately.
Having said that, I thought I'd share some pix of me looking happy for Photo Finish Friday - just so you can see the real me! Ready?
Here's one of me out on yard patrol, looking very happy:
Here I am down on the lower deck:
"Oh... what's over there?"
(Oh, yeah... some disappointing news for fans of Bart. He's become an "only-bat" once again. No sign of his friend. Ammy thinks it may have been just a one day stand. Ha roo, get it? One day stand... since he's nocturnal? Ammy's jokes make me smile, too!)
One more shot for today, up on the upper deck.
Lots of smiles - but keeping the Harp Seal Look handy for when I need it. Ha roo!
I hope today brings you lots to smile about!
Tail wags,
Storms
Of khourse!

PeeEss: Dave IS very handsome!
Dave, You can't fool Wild Dingo. We know you're not being treated well at all...I mean, that beautiful fur, and lushy grass and fully husky figure. Nope. those are SURE signs of neglect. Better come live with Wild Dingo... she knows how to treat you right. :)
ReplyDeletePlease don't teach that Harp Seal trick to Juno. I need her to stay "active" for her treats. She still has about 3 lbs to go to get her bikini figure back!
Hey Stormy, that is very clever thinking..we will have to try it! :-)
ReplyDeleteHolly & Zac...XX
Hey Storm! Thanks for the tips on getting more treats out of those gullible humans of ours! I'm pretty good at making pitiful eyes (in fact, it's a Toller breed trait--really!).
ReplyDeleteI liked Ammy's bat joke, BTW :-)
Your pal,
Sedona
Heh! Heh! You DO look so happy in those shots, Stormy - and I can totally appreciate the sad look coz I use it all the time too! IN my case, I have the natural advantage of being born with droopy eyes and mouth and lots of wrinkles on my foreheard - a combination guaranteed to make me look confused and abused...the most perfect combination for suckering humans!! (Except that I'm sad to report that my alpha human, Hsin-Yi, has a heart made of stone...my other human, Paul, is a much softer touch and it works on him a treat, as long as he thinks Hsin-Yi isn't looking, he'll always slip me something! :-)

Hi Storm
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos to finish off the week with. We smiled right back at you.
We understand how others can sometimes mistake your look as being glum - happens to us all the time and we are quite happy.
You do have the advantage of a more smiley face right enough!
Have a great weekend.

Excellent work Storm. How to work the smile, the Harp Seal look and the camera all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. - Poor Bart the Bachelor.
UGGGGHHHH! Is anyone else having issues with blogger? I have been trying to load your post for about the last half hour and the photos won't load. But I'm sure it is not your post because for the past several days Blogger has been a pain in the.....It is really starting to irritate me! Anyway, now that I have that off my chest, I hope I can see your pics soon Stormy.
ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Twix
Glad to know I am not the only one having issues with Google/Blogger. It sure is frustrating though. Stormy, I love your photos. You have a beautiful smile but don't let everyone give you a hard time about not smiling much. I don't smile a lot either but I'm still happy. I usually show it in other ways that don't always translate to photos.
ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Twix
We are sorry we didnt mean anything by it - she has the sad sack look just like woodrow does - they can guilt anything out of anyone - we loved your pics - you are such a sweetie
