Mom took these really, really cool pix of me in the garden a week or so ago. I keep meaning to share them with you, but we got side-tracked. Or is that Sibe-tracked? Ha roo roo roo!
Anyway, there I was, out in the garden, being Zimmle Mawson, Explorer Pup, when something caught my eye! I raced right over! I stared! I stuck my snooter in! I refused to move! (Even after Mom came over and hooked my leash up and tried to pull me away!)
Check it out!
Ha roo?
If any of you have moms who ... sort of ... how do I say this... are prone to get the Heebie Jeebies, this is a great way to entertain them. Or at least to get their undivided attention.
I said, "Ha roooo in there?!?!"
Mom tried to get me to remove my snooter from the retaining wall for a good five minutes or so, but I couldn't pull myself away. Nor could Mom pull me away. Ha roo roo roo.
No, Mom... not gonna budge. This is too fascinating!
Then she offered to get me a Happy Hearts cookie after we got in the house.... and at the risk of sounding like a sell-out, well... what can I say? She offered Happy Hearts!
For those out there who HAVE to know... Mom did take a shot of what was in the retaining wall. It's nothing bad... but Ammy thought we shouldn't post it to the blog; she doesn't want any bipeds out there to get the Heebie Jeebies. But if you "gots to know" (paws up to Dirty Harry fans) please click here.
Have a great weekend, friends. And get out there and do some exploring!
Play bows,
Zim

Zimmy! you gave the snake such a start it took off so fast and left it's skin behind!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Zim! GREAT job! I love snakes! Remember back when I was just a young little girlie and I brought that huge snake in the house for my mom and laid it in the toy box? I am so proud of woo!

Frankie Snakey Girl
Yes you guessed it we had to know.. How clever of you to find a snake skin, but I bet your mum was glad it wasn't a snake.
ReplyDeleteHugs GJ xx
We thought your snooter was stuck in that wall! We had to look of course and yep, the skin gave our mommy the heebie jeebies!
ReplyDeleteAt least there was something there. We like to do that - for no reason whatsoever. Then the humans are left trying to figure it out. What fun!
ReplyDeleteThose are some really cool pictures! Have a great weekend.

Oh, Zim, what was Mom thinking? She might have been able to start a collection of snakeskins and introduce them to her bagline:) Just kidding, of course.
ReplyDeleteAnd for a Happy Heart treat, we would do anything too.

Holdin' out for a cookie is always the best way to negotiate with the momma peoples.
ReplyDeleteWow, snake skins, how cool! No wonder you couldn't tear yourself away. That Heart Cookie must be really something though.
ReplyDeleteZimmie, you are just about the best explorer pup there is!
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson
Hi, Zim!
ReplyDeleteA snake coat?? Wow! I can understand you were so interested!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Hopefully your mom realizes that you were just trying to protect her from the naked snake.
ReplyDeleteThat's the excuse I use when I'm not done snoofing something.
Bricey the Protector
Good find! I always try and roll around in dead snakeskin if I can!
ReplyDeleteAw..that's what you call;'leading us up the garden path!' It's obviously something you cannot SEE. One needs a snout for that excursion!
ReplyDeleteTons of licks and love
MAXDOG IN SOUTH AFRICA
ps Thanks for all your comments and concern.
You have a SNAKE!!!! I'm sooooo jealous! I've seen those guys on TV. I'm going to remind Kelly again that she needs to get me some Happy Hearts. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteOzzie
Whoa Zim...be careful! I think it's pretty cool, but mom is freaking out over here. We don't have snakes here so this definitely gives her the heebie jeebies!
ReplyDeleteMochi
Oh no, Zimmie! You have to keep your mom from sticking her snooter too close to a snake. And you too! Be careful! What if the snake was just inside that hole changing his clothes?
ReplyDeleteKat
The colors in these photos are amazing. Totally frameable!
