Dealing With the Puparazzi

Tail wags, dear readers, it's me - Stormy. That's right - the puparazzi. We can all relate. You all know our common plight - you're there taking a nap on Guard Duty in the bedroom, totally focusing on your mission ... when the puparazzi comes in and disturbs your peaceful slumber. I suffer from these photo ambushes, too. But you can take control of the situation! Here's a little "how to"!

Take the other day for instance. There I was, guarding the bed...

Zzzz... mmm, tuna ... salmon ... tilapia, mmm ... zzzz....

...when in comes the puparazzi.

Can I help you?

Oh, sure. I understand - I mean, I was doing a really good cute pose, but honestly - enough's enough!

Is she still there? I don't even want to look.

Me, rolling my eyes.

See what I put up with around here? Sheesh.

How would you like to see these pillows meet an early demise?

I sent Mom a mind-meld message that unless she wanted to see a little display of my handiwork rearranging the pillows, quilt, covers, etc., she might want to put the camera down and let me get back to my nap Guard Duty.

And that's how you get a little peace and quiet, pups and kits. Just remember - you are the ones in charge, not the puparazzi. Take control of the situation!

Tail wags (and happy birthday to the US Marine Corps!),

  4. Hi there Stormy!

Our apologies but we have to say, you're too adorable in all those photos! Very difficult for your mom not to click away. Ok, let's stay focused... yeah, it can be annoying when you are happily zzzing away and you feel someone aka mommy snapping away. We'll try your tip next time.

Were you dreaming of tilapia?! You have some over there? That's really yummy!

  5. Stormy, your eyes look sooooo sleepy, I have to go take a nap as soon as I finish this comment. I think your mom's bed NEEDS rearranging. It'll make it more comfy for you. I mean, HER. Or you.

  14. Hi Stormy, you are absolutely right - we need to be more assertive! How on earth are you supposed to get time to dream of all your favourite things?
We are going to print off that determined look of yours and attach it to a flag!
You will become our assertive role model - not sure we can carry if off like you but we will try.
    love and kisses

  20. Funny, but when we throw threats around, we get invited OUTSIDE. Now we like it outside and all, but somehow it is not quite the same.

  21. Excellent tips! I can see in your eyes that you were tired and obviously were not in the mood to put up with any antics. I think I will try this next time I am disturbed.

  23. Stormy, it seems we share being disturbed from our naps in common. It's because we are so gorgeous the beans can't help themselves I guess. Hope you were able to go back to sleep!

  26. We do need to talk to Martha and Bailey and see what they might think of a one day per week photo shoot. No more than that and maybe only half a day!

Uh, Stormy, would you please tell Dave Ali Zophia is writing up Brazil for Saturday.

    Kisses,
    Stella

Well Done Mr. Storm. Take charge of that bed and all other government property in view. And don't leave your post until properly relievd. OBTW: the U.S.M.C. (Happy Birthday; Semper Fi, OOOOOOHRA, etc.) is the only military service that was founded in a bar; seems kind of fitting though.

HOW RUDE! Stormy... the puparazzi have no bidness interuptin' your hard work! threats of any kind under those conditions are completely acceptable.
