Serene Scenery Sunday -The Whole Family Edition

Tail wags, pups and kit-cats! It's me, Stormy! Nothing makes our pack happier and more serene than a walk involving the whole family. I thought I'd share a few pix with you that Mom took the other day out on one of our walks. Care to come walking with us?

Dave and I thought that just for a few minutes, we'd let the redheads get ahead of us. You know - it has to do with that whole "unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes" thing. Here's Mom's view:

I don't think this is such a bad view, Storm!
It's OK for a few minutes. What's over there?!?

And here's our view:

DSCN2793

Not bad, but I need to be in the lead. Mostly because I am the leader, plus there's always a lot of this that goes on:

DSCN2794
Hey! Any of you squirrelly-squirrels out there?

He does like to stop and enjoy the scenery!

DSCN2795
Really! Anysquirrel out there?!? It's me - Zim!

We don't have squirrels right by our house, but Zim knows where they live and likes to stop and commune with then when we're out in their part of the neighborhood. Or anybunnies... or our kit-cat friends. Anyway, if you're the "keep going!" type, you don't want to get behind the Z-man.

Mom took lots of pix of us walking together on the way home. You can check out our latest
FlickR images, if you'd like, plus I put a collage together for you:

We sure enjoyed our family walk. And once we got home and had a round of zoomies, we were all quite serene! Thanks for coming with us; have a lovely Sunday!

Tail wags,
Storms

  2. Woos & a-roos, a lovely walk! Isn't it fun to criss-cross the leashes? It keeps the peeps busy trying to figure out who's walking who!

  7. We loved the walk!! The pictures and the collage are great!! It's funny you brought up those squirrels because we had one on the front roof this morning for awhile...no idea how it got up there or where it went. When Holly went to go outside in the back yard, there was a stray cat on the porch...it ran into an old dog house I used to use when I had an apartment. Squirrels and cats...Holly goes crazy trying to chase them. Makes me worry about where that squirrel went!

  13. Hi Storm,

We really had a good time walking with you today. The collage is also wonderful. You got some moments of boy and girls bonding.
The photo of Zim sending some messages to the "hiding" squirrels is really nice.

  14. Hey Stormy! Why wouldn't Zim want to stop and look for squirrels? If I could ever figure out how to get that leash off me I would be after em in a flash! What would Zimmy do with them anyway? Hopefully, the same thing I would do.....yum!

  19. Hey you had a great Sunday walk - it was raining here so I wasn't interested in going out. No cats around when it rains anyway. Squirrels mmmm - are they any good for chasing?

  20. Hey, nothing wrong with letting the redheads go ahead. That way if there is any trouble, let them deal with it.

Such a beautiful day here too yesterday. I got a good sun bake in.

  21. Storm, I think you and I are the same. I am all about just covering ground. Steve, on the other paw, is like Zimmie. He's got to stop and sniff, pee on, or look at everything! It's so annoying.
