These ones grow up on the hill, beside one of our neighbor's gardens:
Mom likes the dark backdrop of the pine trees!
You can often see bees busy doing their pollen dance on the sunflowers:
Given the number of sunflowers we see on our walks, that guy's got his work cut out for him!
Here's one, stretching its face up to the sun:
That must feel good! I love a good stretch in the sun!
This sunflower was all alone, in a dried out field:
They can grow just about anywhere here! Check out these next sunflowers, growing out of a pile of rubble:
Sunflowers just make me want to smile!
I hope they bring a smile to your face, too - and that sweet sunflower serenity!
Play bows,
Zim
We love sunflowers too. They are so full of life and joy. When you think of the struggle of their growing.
ReplyDeleteHere they grow on the side of the highway, through cracks in the cement, on hot dry hills.
It is amazing how they can grow in the worst environments and still grow to be so tall and beautiful.
And always looking to the sun.
Great pictures, great post.
Thanks
Bert

Those are pretty sunflowers! Our mommy always notices them too since she grew up with them - not in a pile of rubble but you know what we mean. We hope you have a serene Sunday!

Sunflowers (and daisies too) never fail to make us smile! There are lots of sunflower fields around here and our mom says they remind her of a crowd of people, all stretching towards the sun! Thanks for the cheery pictures, Zim. Have a great week!
