Zim and I each got to take a toy outside! He chose the Kong Jack toy that he likes and I thought Purple Panda should come out and enjoy the day with us!

Purple Panda was smiling, as you can see, so I think he was happy to go outside for some SQUEAK time, too!
We walked around a bit, then we played that Fetch game that I like so much!

We played lots of Fetch! I love bringing stuff to Mom when she throws it!

Zim was playing on a different part of the deck. He doesn't quite get the Fetch game, since it goes against Siberian Husky Rule Number 107 - We don't fetch. I understand staying true to the code and all ... but really! It's so fun, I just can't help it! I think Zim should give it a go, don't you?
Anyway, Mom and I played some more ...

He seemed exhausted. I went in with him to make sure he was OK. There's a chance that we took a nap together.
We sure enjoyed our 77 degree day! We tried our best to make the most of it. To show you how crazy Kansas is, just after midnight this morning (you know, the middle of the night!), our temp was still at a record high of 70℉ ... and now tonight we're expecting "measurable snow". This is why meteorologists love our area -- there's always something going on!
Zim will post pix of his playtime in a day or so! He really had fun, too. And so did Mom!

Your Kansas weather was warmer than our L.A. weather!! Krazy stuff!! On Sunday we went swimming around noon - it was 60ish - and then in the afternoon it got VERY dark, and then started pouring rain. It turned cold (for us), dropping to the 40's a few hours later. After the rain stopped there was SNOW on our mountains!! OMD!! Who's running this thing??

Hi Dave, Well I'm glad you loved that warm weather; we had it last week(though not quite that warm)and loved it but yesterday got snow...and it is headed your way. We didn't get as much as Goose or Murphy & Stanley but still got a little. Hope you have a great afternoon.

Your deck is so nice and dry...today our cement porch is full of water cos its raining plus the humidity is higher so the porch is wet...mom says its like a swampy mess out there. When I ventured out i even looked for alligators. It is warm here also, but is supposed to start to snow later...geeze!!

Dave and Zim I first have to tell you about the snow. While you are in the 70's I am being buried. I am not kidding. You saw my post...well it has not stopped snowing. No kidding. I just came in helping MOM shovel ANOTHER 10 or 11 inches. My belly scrapes the snow in the yard most places and it's even past my belly in other spots. In fact our mail box has another 10 or so inches to go and it will be completely covered. I have been practicing my fort building, but to be honest I don't have to do much digging or moving the snow. I just dive in and there ya have it, a fort. I'm glad MOM decided to work from home today, but she does have to go to the shelter tonight. I think I get to go with her, I hope. Now about your deck time. I love to play fetch. I did not know that Husky's had a rule not to. hummm. Wonder why. It is way fun. I bet Zim does it when no one is looking.

Oh my dog, 77 in January, in Kansas, BOL That's as crazy as the 20's we had here last week. Glad you got to enjoy this crazy weather, ours has gone back to 70 this week

what fun!!! we had the kinda warms here today, but mom says it was so windy that you can't tell it is warm - so no open windows. And it is supposed to get cold here later in the week too. We would very much like spring to get here soon!!!

I got to go on THREE outings yesterday because it was so nice. Master took us on a long walk when he got home from work and since Mrs. Master didn't feel as though she had enjoyed the weather enough, she took us AGAIN when she got home! WOO!

It was really warm here today too. On our Sunday run, Mom wore two pairs of pants, two long-sleeve shirts, gloves, scarf, and hat. Today she wore shorts and a t-shirt. What a change! We preferred Sunday.
