We had a great time walking around, though I must say this drought is really doing a number on the sea level. See the sort of pie-shaped bare dirt area?
"The Kansas Ocean isn't quite what it used to be!" |
That should be FILLED with water.
We had fun walking around anyway. I even let Mom shoot some portraits, since she had the camera instead of the iPhone for a change. I thought I'd share a few for Photo Finish Friday.
Wait. I wasn't ready.
I like that one, only it looks like I'm sniffing some cedar trees that were about 100 yards away.
My schmoopy, thoughtful look |
Not bad, but a bit too back-lit.
My pensive look |
What do you think? Not bad, huh? When we got home, we did a photo shoot with me AND Dave. I'm not sure you're going to see many of those. We ... mmm ... let's just say we weren't really in the mood. Ha roo roo roo!
Happy Friday!
Play bows,
Zim
Hey Zim your pensive look is more like my look when I am out hunting vermin scanning the horizon. Handsome pup you. Are you and Dave coming to the Ball? The lady doglets will go mad for you both. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

Wow, Zimmie! I know you say the middle shot is too backlit, but I think it's a grreat shot. You look like a super hero or something!
ReplyDeleteI hope you guys manage to fun photoshoot soon!
I love the thoughtful look. OK that was my MOM who said that I like the watch pup look. I hope the ocean fills up. What will all the creatures of the deep blue Kansas Ocean do if it does not? Hope you and Dave come hang with me and Easy at the dance. What a good looking pack we would make.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Sniffing the cedar trees!?! YOU ARE GOING TO SNEEZE! They are terribly allergic...don't get too close!
ReplyDeleteNora
PS. I put an extra special pic up for your mom today.
I'm trying to get Star out of here so that I can get the undivided attention! Don't you know???
ReplyDeleteAnyway, we totally understand. Labs...err...i mean 15 year olds just need more attention from their moms.
Nora
Woos, Zimster, maybe we can send woo some of our ocean to fill the Kansas ocean back up - we've still got plenty enough ocean to spread around!
ReplyDeleteWe love your schmoopy thoughtful look - really tugs at the hearts of humans everywhere. Of course, your watch-ppup look is really cool - bet those cedars smelled GOOD, even at 100 yards away!
