As Dave mentioned yesterday, Camo and I took a nice road march to the KSO with Mom and Dad on Friday. Here's a collage of the two of us on the way there:
Top photo: me/Zim. Bottom left: Camo Center right: Camo and me |
(If you want to see the individual pix better, please visit our FlickR page, the Cam and the Boys 2013 set at this link.) Anyway, pretty cool; Mom hasn't done a collage for our blog in a long time.
When we got to the ocean, we offered to hold onto Dad and let Mom go off-lead so she could go down to the shoreline and take take a few shots of some ducks I saw. (Don't worry; with Dad there, Mom is fairly reliable off-lead.)
"C'mon, Dad & Camo! Let's explore!" |
It didn't take Cam long to spot the ducks.
"DUCKS!" |
"Hey, Mom. I thought you were going to take pix of my duck friends!" "DUCKS!" |
Cammie has this thing where she'll just sit. I don't quite get it, but Mom and Dad think it's adorable. Mom took this shot of Cam before she went down the hill to the water's edge:
My beautiful sister Cammie |
Mom said that's her favorite picture yet of Cam. I like it, too. She looks so serene, doesn't she?
Here's who Mom saw swimming around in the KSO:
Bufflehead Ducks! |
They're Buffleheads. Aren't they cute? They're pretty tiny; we could barely see them at first! Here's another look:
The Bufflehead Ducks again! |
They're only here on their way to somewhere else, so Mom was mighty delighted to be able to see them!
When she finished photographing them, she turned to walk up the hill, and this is what she saw:
Dad, me and Cam up on the Boardwalk (Dad's the tall one) |
She had her iPhone, too, and took this shot with it:

The light kept changing because of those beautiful clouds, so Mom kept firing away!
Another iPhone shot |
Mom switched back over to the Canon, so Cam and I struck some serious poses:
And one final shot:
"So... uh... are you ever coming back up the hill?" |
Ha roo. Just kidding. Dad didn't really say that. But he might have been thinking it.
Anyway - I hope you enjoyed our serene walk to the ocean! The four of us sure did! Keep it zen-like!
Play bows,
Zim

Cammie sure knows how to pose for the camera. I guess you haven't schooled her in camera avoidance yet. Lovely Serene Sunday pictures.

What wonderful shots of you two and the tall one. I can see why your mom took so many. My MOM would have done the same thing. And oh that Cammie, she sure sits beautifully. Are you teaching her to talk with the ducks? I think I see her really trying to communicate with them. Yep you have done it again, we feel all serene like. I love being in the Zim Zone.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really fun walk. I can't believe you trust your mom off lead like that! I'd never ever let Mrs. Master go off lead...who even knows where she'd go!

Wow, those are some beeYOUtiful poses! I'm very impressed.
ReplyDeleteI really like those last shots a lot! seems like any one of them is frame/wall worthy!
ReplyDeletethat sitting shot of Camo? Ooooo boy oh boy do I KNOW that sitting stare... Juno does that exact look when she sees chickens. *shivers* they sure look pretty when they do it, but I wouldn't want to be on the other end of their stare!!! :)
