Cam and I take a short breaks ...
"Let's play, Cam-a-roo!" "I'm in!" |
... while the little one spends time in her retreat.
"Zzzz..." |
I think she was in conference with Big Mean Kitty.
"Let's go check on Maggie T!" "Good idea, Zim!" |
After Maggie finished conferencing with BMK yesterday, we all headed outside. While out there, Maggie made an important discovery:
The sprinkler system! She was great - no fear, just curiosity! She's such a confident, happy pup! She got a GREAT start in life back with her Polargold family, and now it's up to Cam and me to mentor her.
"What is this?!?" |

"Oh, sure, Maggie! Chew whatever you feel like; just don't get caugh--uh-oh. Don't do it, Mags! Divert! Divert!" |
I'm working on the importance of cute poses after the fact with her now. Ha roo roo roo. I think she's got that mighty well covered, by the way - Mom's continually talking about how cute she is. And about God. No, yeah, really! She's repeatedly saying, "This is why God made Siberians so cute." Yeah - we are, aren't we? Let's move along...
"And see... that's when you need to do a killer-cute pose!" "OK, Zimmie! Let's play! Let's play!" |
She's such a good kid! She wants to do everything Cam and I do! Even though she's really too young to go on Road Marches, she wants to go anyway! We've humored her by letting her go just a few houses down and back - carefully avoiding freshly fertilized lawns and other dogs (she doesn't have her booster shots yet). Here we all are, heading out yesterday:
"What are you doing, Auntie CamCam?" "Zim taught me to check the Lilac bushes before we go. You never know what will be in there!" "Yeah, Maggie. And you can always grab a leaf or two off the bush!" |
She is so smart and picks up on stuff so fast!
Did you catch the pic of her yesterday? She's such a quick study!
"Wait for me, you guys!" |

She's got some really great Crazed River Otter moves! For some reason, Mom says it's hard to get good shots of all of us, but here we are from last night:
Mom just missed us play bowing at each other. Gotta be quick, Mom!
Maggie likes to take breaks during Crazed River Otter games to check on the fireplace pup ...
"Hello?" |
Don't worry. We're also teaching her the "no knocking anything over" part of the game. Oh, sure - something HAS been broken since she got here. Of course, Maggie was sound asleep in her private retreat at the time. And no, it wasn't me or Cammie. The culprit? Mom. Yep. She was tucking a cord away from where Maggie could get it and ...
"You never turn that lamp on anyway, Mom." "Thanks, Cammie." |
Guess we need to Mom-proof the house. Ha roo roo roo!
Have a great one, everypup!
Play bows,
Zim
Heehee. Our Mom is still chuckling about the "That's why God made Sibes so cute" comment. She says something like that to Abby a lot, BTW! You two are doing an excellent job raising Madame Prime Minister, and we are all loving the photos! We assume at some point you'll teach her how not to fetch, right? ;-)

Mom said since getting us she realized just how important a good beginning is for puppies and good breeding and when that is skipped there can be big problems along the way. We have taught her lots of lessons that she didn't know until we moved in with her and dad. I know you and cammi will be wonderful teachers for Maggie.

Does she howl? Actually, do Cammie or Zim howl? I never thought of that before!

OMD OMD We think that we can SEE her GROWING already. What a CUTIE.
ReplyDeleteMum proof the house BOL funny. You got to give us the story of why the name we'd love to know. Hey Camo missing your agony column .... you must plan for it to come back soon. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Cutest picture ever of Maggie snoozing on her back! Puppies need lots of rest so they can get up and be bad, er, we mean good!Yeah, out mom says "good thing you're cute" lots too! Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteKiki and Nala
you guys are doing great with her.
ReplyDeletewe have to say, mom says similar things about our fosters "good thing they are cute" :)
Perhaps mum needs to be leashed until she re-earns her house privileges.
ReplyDeleteYea here at my place MOM has broken WAY more things than me. I can't believe how she is growing. WOW! Keep up the good work Zim and Cam-a-roo. MOM says if there ever is a pup in our future then she is sending him/her to the two of you for training. Of course I will come along to cheer ya one.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Oh my goodness, Maggie is SO cute. You two are doing a great job mentoring her. Now, mom-proofing the house is your next job!
ReplyDeleteFor some really odd reason, that phrase "that's why God made Sibes so cute" is said here about as often as a Tired Sibe is a Good Sibe. We wonder if there is any connection?
ReplyDeleteShe's sure learning really quick! Looks like so many fun times at your house! Hope your mom doesn't break anything else!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you didn't get too soaked by the sprinkler, Maggie T!
ReplyDeleteWe just loved this post! We are still chuckling!
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
