Mom unpacked them, then let me take a look. I am, after all, the TV and movie aficionado around here! I gave the boxes a quick read ...
"WOWZERS!" |
... and then gave Cammie a call!
"Cam! You've GOT to check these out!" |
The star of BOTH movies is a Malamute!!! How cool is that?!?!
"Oh, he's so handsome! How do I open this thing?" |
Cammie wanted to open the first movie up right away and stick it in the DVD player! Mom said she wanted to get a couple shots of us with them first.
"OK, but then we can watch the movies, right?" "We do get to watch them, right, Mom?" |
Mom has this thing about not watching sad movies. Even the classics. You know - like Bambi ... Charlotte's Web ... need I even mention Old Yeller? Yeah. Anything where an animal gets hurt or killed and CLICK. Off. We worked on her a bit:
"But the Malamute's in BOTH movies, so we know he'll be OK!" "Yeah. C'mon, Mom!" |
She mentioned a strong possibility of having movie night over the weekend! Yea!
Anyway, these movies sure look like good family viewing! Thanks so much to Oz for sponsoring the giveaway!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Our Mom is that way, too. In fact, she insists on visiting the website DoesTheDogDie.com before watching any movies!(Although she couldn't find your movies in there.) Enjoy!

Our Mom is the same way. She refuses to watch anything where the doggie gets hurt or worse. Gonna have to check out the website
ReplyDeleteDearest Maggie and Cammie that is one fine prize you won for the Great and wonderful OZ...
ReplyDeleteNow girls I have a serious question....OMCs please let me know if that handsome Malamute jumps out of that box!! Ohhhhh that would be so fine
Hugs and happy watching
Madi your bfff
Oh, Maggie and Cammie...I am SO glad your DVDs arrived!!! I knew those would be the perfect movies for you, what with that hamdsome Malamute on the covers. Tell your mom this is a kid-friendly movie which means even though there may be some trials and tribulations, no one...I repeat NO ONE or NO DOG dies so they are both safe for her to watch (we think). Have a Happy Saturday Movie Night!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Oz!!! Now we're sure to get movie night! :)

OH, fun, a movie night. Just remember to HA ROOOOO at all the best parts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great surprise! Mom and Dad donated the TV to a veteran group. They now just watch movies on Mom's big computer screen in the office/den. No more cable bill! More treats for me!
ReplyDeleteAbby Lab
