We left some carrots and apples in our wooden sabots last night, and Saint Nicolas left us some treats in return! Mom removed them for the photo shoot, just so we wouldn't stare at the treats the whole time.

| "Not that we'd do that, Saint Nicolas." "No, not us. We are very good girls!" |

| "So ... how come we leave stuff for Saint Nicolas' horse, but not for him?" "That doesn't seem right. We should have something for him, too!" |

Did you leave anything for Saint Nicolas' horse last night? Or for Saint Nick himself? And did you get any treats in return?

You both look so beautiful in your hats and you look really good in Red it brings out the colour of your furs and eyes, a vision of winter wonders!
ReplyDeleteMy Mum calls it a 'trial run' when Santa comes around to look at everyone to check they are still on the nice list and I always leave some apples and a carrot out as well as a glass of brandy and some panetone cake! Mum says we are not allowed to eat any of it but we do get treats the next morning, special Santa treats, it's magical!
You girls must have been on the nice list for sure!
