The Rest Of The Birdies!

Greetings to all! It's me, Maggie, here with the rest of the birdies from our recent trip to Quivira NWR. If memory serves me, we were right about here:

"Prairie Dogs in the Ed Center, but not Siberians.  Reeeee-lly."
"Such a double standard."

Yeah.  Right there.  Anyway, on to the birdies!

We saw a good number of these guys:

Most of the shorebirds are gone now, but a few of these guys are still here:

We have lots of gulls that come through Kansas; these guys are the most abundant in the Winter:

  1. We agree - prairie dogs, not Sibes??? The unfairness of the universe. We can see how little both of you approve of THAT.

  6. What lovely birdies! Mama says the ducks must all be stopping at your house this year, we haven't had as many as we usually do at our marsh this year.

OMD...Maggie, were you sleeping?? Who is helping your Dad navigate home??

  8. We love all the duck pictures! When your mom is taking pictures, how on earth do you stay quiet and not scare the ducks away? (We would be going out of our minds!)
