The ornamental grasses are really huge and warm and beautiful during the cold months! Here I am, shouldering my way through some Maiden Grasses to get to the Friendship Garden:
"Hey! Any-bunny down there?" |
You never know. There are bunnies everywhere these days!
We walked around a bit after that and I made an important discovery:
"What in blazes is this thing?!?" |
I did what comes naturally when I see something new!
"And ... I'm in. Hello? Who turned out the lights?" |
I was thinking it might be a cool tunnel like I've seen my agility-pup friends do, but there was no light at the end of the tunnel. So to speak. It was sort of like a box, only round. Very interesting. And it smelled of leaves and pine straw. It was great!
We walked around a bit more, then I graced Mom with a few poses. Here's one:
"Here, Mom. My regal pose." |
She didn't have treats or anything. My early Christmas present to her.
That, and Santa might be watching!
One more, by the Blue Oat Grasses:
Me. Polargold's Margaret Thatcher. |
I do look rather Prime Ministerial there, don't I?
Anyway, what a blast we had, doing all that exploring! Thanks for coming with us!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

It looks like you had lots of fun exploring the back yard. We think your mom should get you a real tunnel so you can go all the way through it.
