"I am SO happy!" ❤️ "Aww! Maggie!" ❤️ |
At that point, Mom can't really read my body language. And then ...
"I feel it coming on!!!" "Oh, my ..." |
... then I launch:
"ZOOM!!!!!!" "Must ... hold on ... tightly!!!" |
Yep. Full-swing leash zoomies! What a blast!
"OK, Mom. Show's over; let's move along." "Whew." |
How do you show your exuberance?!? Sometimes I just can't stop myself!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We thought for sure you were going to roll in the dirt. With such a big back yard we show our exuberance by doing full speed loops around the perimeter. Usually one of us is chasing the other. Even as we close in on our eighth year we still amaze our pawrents in how fast we can run and how often we like to do it.
ReplyDeleteOMD, I know how you feel! Yesterday Momma went and just stood out in the yard for a little bit -- something about needing to feel the sun -- and I launched into an epic round of zoomies.
ReplyDeleteOk mom lets move along...Maggie that was so funny. You are on a whirl then you are cool as a cucumber

I get nutty too, Maggie. I grab my leash and dance and pull mom along!
ReplyDeleteWell, since Mom can't walk us now, we can't give THAT a try, but we both do get that ZOOMIES itch every day, even Lightning. Mom has to really enforce that social distancing rule by putting one of us outside so Lightning doesn't get too crazy. But it IS fun while it lasts.

That is so sweet, Maggie! I am smiling.
ReplyDeleteyou just made my day dear Maggie.
ReplyDeleteI love it when Happiness just comes over us!
it's a wonderful thing! and free too! xoxo
So glad you have the joy in your heart!
ReplyDeleteSometimes zoomies are the only way to express how you feel Maggie! We race each other then come to a screeching halt, give a shake and end with a big grin.
ReplyDeleteThose were some great zoomies! We are glad your mom caught them on her camera!
