"What the fluff?!?" "What do you think? Woodchuck? Beaver? My money's on a Woodchuck. Where is he?" |
Mom said it wasn't a Woodchuck, it was a nice man in a very large truck. Maggie and I weren't allowed to meet him - something about "social distancing". Whatever. We thought we should check it out:
"It's mulch, Cam." "Is it tasty?" |
For some reason, Mom wouldn't let us eat it. I don't want to say anything, but she can be a real killjoy sometimes!
So ... Mom and Dad waved a magic wand and in no time at all ...
Mulch-be-gone! |
... it was all done!
Just kidding. Mom and Dad worked themselves silly for a good part of the day spreading the mulch in various beds around Ao4 Headquarters. Apparently all the work they had been doing outside was in preparation for the big Mulch-a-Palooza. We'll share more pix later, but here's one "before and after"! Here is the Butterfly Garden all weeded, trimmed up, and weed preventative spread out:

And here it is now:
AFTER |
The mulch makes a huge difference, doesn't it? More pix to come; stay tuned!
Cammie!
Momma recently weeded and mulched our front beds. She said she can't imagine how much work your huge beds take!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Mom and Dad. We are expecting our mulch to arrive in the next week or so. It is so true, it really does perk up the yard when it is just freshly spread.

The butterfly garden looks beautiful! Your peeps are very hard workers and we can't wait to see all of the beautiful blooms!
ReplyDeleteYour parents worked very fast moving all that mulch. The garden looks great too.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of mulch. Mum and Dad did a great job!
ReplyDeleteWhew Ladies that is a lot of spreading...I bet the staff was tired and sore. It looks very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if you did not see who delivered it...it coulda been a woodchuck
