Woo. It's me. Dave, Guide Dog for the Color Blind. Mom's been pretty busy with a couple bag orders and is now working on a baby quilt for a friend of ours. In the meantime, we got a bunch of new fabrics in.
I'm dreaming up all kinds of pretty things we can make with them. I hope Mom hurries up with the baby quilt.
Dave, I'm with you: I'm such a sucker for pretty cotton print. I'm a lousy seamstress, but have a good basic A-line skirt pattern. At last count, I think I have about 20 cotton skirts made out of that pattern: I just can't stop falling in love with the fabrics! (now if I could only get my zippers right. . .)
Woo Dave! That pile looks FABulous! (Get it?!!). We're sure her baby quilt will be wonderful but it'll be hard to top that Ram-A-Lamb bag. Mom's still talking about it. ECHO
We think that you should start working on the next project on your own, Dave. Arrange that fabric the way you want - which will look FABulous - and she will be compelled to work on it! But, then again, it does make a FABulous pillow, doesn't it? That's it! make a pillow!
Hi there, it's Mona & the Mommy. We were just over at Roxie, Sammy and Andy's bloggie & read comment. Your right there's no place like Texas in the Spring Time when the bluebonnets are blowning. We live in Houston where they used to live and we can't wait to see them again.
I can't wait to see the new creations you and your Mom come up with. I bet they'll look great! My mom is finally fnishing up some of her stuff and will hopefully have pictures of them for me to share soon. Kaos
We can't wait for your mom to start taking bag orders, our mama says her Ram-a-Lamb fab is in that stack! Woo 2 are so talented, and PROLIFIC! Ours is still trying to finish the Boogie quilt, in between trying to find a job that will PAY her. Kisses, The RHP
Oh woe is woo!
ReplyDeleteWoo know what to do if she drags those human paws of hers -
KHLAW HER!
But gently - she's a furry nice lady!

Great fabrics and a customized head rest. Wow it's great to watch the humans work. We particularly like to be a distraction to help out.

ReplyDeleteI bet your mom feels the same way that my mom feels about visiting the fabric store! That it's a candy store!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to all of you!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
I am still laughing at Ammy's joke. Ha Roo.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will get mistress to do any nice sewing again in a hurry. Not until she gets her machine mended.
Although she can make curtains by hand. Apparently. Anyway that looks nice stuff. We are looking forward to seeing the finished stuff.
Pippa
Dave, I see a fabric in the pile that looks perfect for a bag! Is Mom taking orders? Please have her email me!

You're very helpful Dave! You're a good model for showing the fabrics, besides being a Guide Dog.
ReplyDeleteWe were just thinking about you today! There's a discussion on another forum about where we got our nose freckles.
You don't have any hunting dog breeds in your background, do you?
One person is saying that some Sibe with leg spots has Karelian Bear Dog in it somehow. And so do dogs with nose spots.
Sounds crazy to me!

Just wanted to stop in & say hi.
Are my wolf prints in there? I thought I thought a couple of them looked familiar!!
ReplyDeleteYes, she needs to hurry up with the mini bi-ped blanket and get to the really important stuff! Doggie bags!

Woo, Dave! I was playing the part of quilting doggy last night. Mom actually had some time to work on quilting and I always add my special touches!
