Yard Work

Hi everypuppy! It's me - Amber! For the third day in a row, Mom and Dad are going to be outside in our yard doing "yard work". Cutting, pruning, snipping, raking, bagging, bending, lifting, pulling.... it's exhausting.

I mean for us. We have to watch out all the windows to make sure they're safe and are doing everything right and all. I better take a nap before they go out to spread the mulch the big truck just dumped in the driveway.

It's going to be another rough day!

Love,
Ammy

  1. You are right! It's very hard work guarding the bipeds while they work in the yard. We usually try to help, but end up getting in the way. At least, that's what they tell us!

  4. Mom and Dad are doing the very same thing your mom and dad are doing and Mitch and I are supervising! I think this means that mom will be nodding off in the chair before 9PM!

  5. Our Mom was just talking about getting ready for yard work. She makes us stay inside too. Something about us getting in the way. Whatever.

  7. Hey! Good thing you are all helping out in the house...not out in the messy yard...by watching out the windows...make sure they dont' track too much mud & gook on their human paw paws when they come back in!

  8. Hey where did your mom get that fabric? IS there anymore? I think my boy would like something made out of that. I hope your parents don't make you work to hard making sure they are okay out in the yard.

    Hi Ammy--

Will you ask them if they'll come to my yard to do all that stuff too?

And if you all come with, we can play and go for walks to stay out of their way...

  14. Wait, don't you get to be outside in the nice weather with them?? What's up with that? Totally not fair you are stuck inside watching, and they get to be outside!! I can see why it is tiring though.

  17. Ahh Amber a Sibe's work is never done! Your mum and dad are so lucky to have you looking out for them. We are looking forward to seeing more pics of your great yard this year. Mum has also been planting heaps of new herbs on the balcony and we must say that our 'garden' is looking good.
We wanted to tell Zim that the picture of him on the bath mat is totally gorgeous!
