"MOM! Is that what I think it is?!!?"
That's right, a nice, juicy, ripe watermelon! It's one of my very favorite things in the world!!! I've even written one of my Haik-woos about it! (You can see it here if you'd like!) And there's a rumor going around that the spots on my snooter are actually watermelon seeds. (I think Ammy might have started that one...) Anyway, it's the BEST and we have one all cut up and ready to eat!
So...
...who wants to come over for some watermelon!?!?

Yum. I like all that summer fruit too! Strawberries and blueberries! Mom is super picky about her watermelon, it has to have "the right texture" so she never buys them because if its not the right texture she wont eat it and then it goes bad. sigh. Enjoy your summer fruit!

We don't see much Water Melon here, but kinda wish we did cos it has been so darn hot here.
ReplyDeleteOne minute in Scotland we have endless snow, frost and ice, the next I am sweating in my black Labby coat cos it is soooooooooooo darn hot.

Dave you have me drooling over here. I'll be dreaming of juicy watermelon tonight. I've just gotten caught up on all your posts that I missed. I know, I said I wouldn't be catching up but some of my furiends are special and I have to see what you've been up to. I've missed you guys and thought about you often.
