Woo!
Here's a cool picture of me and my kid brother out exploring the wild prairie!
Zim, Wild Coyote of the Prairie!
He made that nickname up himself. It's pretty fitting since he learned Coyote as his first language. (To new readers: Before joining our family, Zim had been chained to a tree 24 hours a day - for the first year and a half of his life. He learned to talk by listening to the coyotes who sang to him. When he got here, Stormy taught him Siberian.) Anywoo, he's got great camouflage this time of year, doesn't he? Cool!
Speaking of "cool" and my little brother, remember all the talk about the computer crash and Mom losing some of her photos, but Dad was able to rescue a few favs off the iPod? (With Stormy's help!) Here's one of those shots:
She hadn't saved it anywhere else... but now thanks to Dad (and Stormy), she has one of her favorite Zim-shots back! Oh, there are others, too - to include some of me! But that one was one that tugged at her heartstrings.
We had a great walk this morning, and now I need to get back to doing what I do best.
Yes, that's Mom's leg. Woo. Have a great day!
Luv,
Dave

PeeEssWoo: Great Pikhture!
Cool pictures. I have stripes too, but they are because I'm getting so fluffy, my fur is popping out and I try to keep Mom and the brush at bay. The stripes are useful for pretending that I am a zebra.

So Dave, would you be the rare exotic Siberian Zebra???
ReplyDeleteMoms are the best. I'm snuggled up to mine right now.
Brice
Zebra Dave - How appropriate. And despite our wild nature, we all need a snuggle.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos of your walk in the wild prairie! You do look striped! I didn't know that about Zim as a baby but I'm sure glad he is part of your family now. I think the people who do things like that to dogs need to be the ones out there chained to trees 24/7.
ReplyDeleteHi Dave,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun time exploring! I'm glad you guys like the cold - I don't care for it much. I have to wear coats in the winter cuz I get fureezing! Hey, I have an idea! I will just send all the snow we get over to you guys!
-Tibby
Dave - you are the Zebra which dearly warmed our hearts.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got things sorted.
From cold and even colder and icy north of the UK!

forgot to say, we are feeling for poor Zim, a terrible time he had.
ReplyDeleteHe was a lucky zebra (ooooh sorry! Husky - ooops sorry confused Marvin then, to find your Mama and Papa!
They are the bestest.

I just LOVE you!

Woo Zimmie you look SO cool in that photo!
ReplyDeleteyour bestest friend Huffle Mawson
Woo - your Mom has blue legs? That's very interesting. That's graet camo for prairie exploration but you may want to let Zim know he should talk to Mom about ditching that bright blue leash. It kind of spoils the scene.
