He's Back! He's Back!

Hey everypup and everykit! My friend Adrill came back! He came back to see me!!!

Oh... sorry! Ha roo, it's me, Zim! Isn't this exciting!?!? Just when I thought it was going to be a boring "dog days of summer" kind of week, my friend Adrill came back! The excitement began Monday, when Dad started talking about Apain. I'm not sure who Apain is, but his last name sounds like a lot of "HBO words", as my buddy Joe Stains would say. Mom talked to someone on the phone named Theplumber, and the next day two guys showed up, bright and early. And guess who was with them?!? That's right... my friend Adrill!

My old friend Adrill

He brought lots of friends with him, too!

They scattered all over the place and got busy - but I could tell Adrill was doing most of the work. Look at how "in charge" he looks:

Isn't he cool?

Mom wouldn't let me hang out with him, but I could hear him working away downstairs while I was upstairs!

"I know he's down there, Mom!"

"Ha roo? Adrill? It's me... Zimmie! Ha roooooo!?!?"

He answered me with his own version of "ha roo"; it was so good to hear him again!

Ammy spent some time looking out the windows and said Adrill and some other friends were busy outside, too.

Hey! Isn't that our hot water heater over by the gate? Wowzers. Adrill sure has been busy!

Anyroo, then Ammy told me something shocking. She said the Tin Man had exploded right in our yard! I had to go check it out!

The Tin Man ... exploded!

"Grooooooooannnnnnn.... oh, AMMY!"

I can't believe I fell for that one! Ha roo roo roo - it was pretty funny, though!

Anyroo, by that night, Adrill, Theplumbers, and all of Adrill's friends were gone. This new thing had taken the place of the hot water heater...

...and there were less "HBO words" flying around Ao4 HQs. A pretty full day, and really so cool getting to see Adrill again and to exchange "ha roo"s with him. Nothing like catching up with an old friend. Even if Mom did say it was a very expensive reunion. Hey! What price, friendship!!??!!

Play bows,
Zim

  1. Thats what I say to my Mom, too, Zim! Its only Money! Not anything us pups should be concerned about AT ALL!

  2. Hey that looks just like the thing in out basement too - Mommy has her very own Adrill - he lives in our basement too with lots of friends - Mommy even adjusted one of her tool belts for woodorw so he can carry Adrill and his buddies around - Sweetie doesnt fall for the slave labor and MJ is still too yound - but Wood easily gets fooled into helping mommy do stuff all over the house - he carries cleaning products - tools - anything to be underfoot with mommy.

  3. Hey there, Zim
Did the old one explode on you? That's what commonly happens here in SA. When we have to put in a new geyser then we get our friend "AROOF FIXER" and also "ACEILING FIXER". Those guys are sure more irritating than "ADRILL"!
We loved today's blog post...thanks Zim!

Wow Zim! Adrill sure was busy. And the Tin Man, HA ROO!!! That was a good one! The tankless version looks pretty cool and space saving. Have you been able to go inspect it now that thePlumber is gone?

  6. We have several of Adrill's cousins here and they usually appear right around the time that HBO words are flying here too.

  7. Glad Adrill was able to come to see you, Zim, but too bad he left a big bill. Mom doesn't like seeing this post as we have a water spot under one of our hot water heaters and she is afraid Adrill might have to come here too. If he does, we'll let you know so you can come visit too.

  9. That was such a funny story complete with very funny expressions!
We know Adrill so he must visit Scotland too!
We are glad you have a new water heater and we hope it didn't cost too much!!!
Yes we were mucking about with our Header putting in a couple of photos that we resized - easy now we have the technology.
It then occurred to us we could do the same with the wee waving basset that we have had for ages but was too big for the sidebar. Also he didn't wave when he was copied and pasted but as you see he is happily waving now he is posted direct!!!
Oh my goodness our mum is having fun although our dad is looking for 'blog addiction' help for her!!!!

  10. Oh Zim - Mom said you just made her day! Funny though....we seem to hear the HBO words when Adrill comes over to play as opposed to before he gets here.

  13. Zim, You're a comic. We enjoyed your post about your friend Adrill. Hope the new contraption works well or there will be more HBO words flying about because Adrill will have to return with all his friends and your mom and dad will have to pay to entertain them.

  15. How weird. At our house, Adrill shows up and then there are HBO words. Something about our hu-dad not being very handy, though he appears to have two hands to us. Its like he always says he has two left feet, but we check and he has one on the right and one on the left. We have two left feet and two right feet - each.

  16. Dad tells mom all the time - money is only ink on paper!
We hope all the HBO words have stopped for now!

Zim! it's a good thing you are a good doggie and don't pick up on those HBO words. HBO words don't sit well with such pretty dogs.

Adrill looks cool. Loki loves Asaw and ACompressor. Lucky for Loki they live in the 2nd story workshop where he can visit them all the time as long as Pop is there monitoring.

This week Loki and Juno have friends visiting and improving their walking trail to Nitwit Bridge. And because friends are doing it, there's no HBO words around our home either and it will be much safer for us all to walk the trail.

Zim we always look forward to reading your posts!

  24. Adrill sounds like the life of the party. I don't know why your parents are using HBO words when he shows up ;) It sounds like everyone needs a relaxing weekend.

  31. Adrill does look very in charge. All the other tools are very inferior looking.

That new water heater is much smaller looking. More room for zoomies perhaps?

  32. Hey! I have Adrill's twin brother! He's more my dad's friend. I don't care for him too much so I go into the other room whenever he's around.

Glad your friend is back! And love that groan face! :)
