Here's my first pose:
Clearly, something caught my attention.
Mom calls this collection Portrait of a Bird Watcher. No, there weren't birdies in the house, but Ammy and I thought there were. What had me so spell-bound? An iPhone App called iBird. Mom was playing the bird calls! As you can tell from my intensity, they are very life-like! I loved listening - and Mom loved getting the cool portrait shots! Something for everyone.
Play bows,
Zim
Honorary Kitty Cat and Bird Watcher
I wondered what had their attention so completely. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, are you kidding me? me heart is melting. hands down my favorite post ever. that one of the 2 of them with reverse eye color is hard to even believe.
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures!!!!
ReplyDeleteZim, we're as mesmerized with your handsome photos as you were with the bird sounds. *swoon* We like the one with your sisfur too. You two are gorjuss!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!! Love your eyes, Zim!
ReplyDeleteWhat great shots! That was well worth playing with iphone - if birds get you so focused.
ReplyDeleteWell done mom.

Martha & Bailey xxxx
Your beautiful pictures make my heart go bumpety-bump, Zim!
ReplyDeleteKZK is getting all kinds of amazing pictures these days, isn't she?
More, more!
Kisses,

Oh Zim - those are just the most amazing pictures!!! I think I like the 2nd one best - your eyes are INCREDIBLE!! I have seen some other doggies with different colour eyes but yours are by far the prettiest. Oh, and Ammy too, of course! :-) That picture of the 2 of you with your reversed eye colours is so cool!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
I would hate to be a bird if it meant you would look at me that way. It is way too intense for the Mango.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Bewootiful. I would just like to add that humans always get the credit for taking bewootiful photographs. Please note that the only thing the human does is point the flashy beast and press and button. All the work goes in the modeling. Models get such flack for complaining about the hard work, but does anyone realize just how hard it is to be fluffy and adorable?
ReplyDeleteMeeshka
Awesome pictures Zim..

You must have been a pro photog. in a different life - those are outSTANDING photos - seriously! I had to go look at your other blog re your bags (which are lovely) as are the pix of them. I've heard from some that it's hard to take a bad picture of beautiful subjects, but in this case, both the subject and the photo quality is gorgeous. I'm just so drawn to the pups - Ohhh how beautiful they are!
ReplyDeleteHugs xo
Sammie and mom
I need to borrow that look - it'd scare away all the squirrels for sure!

We would have bet on Happy Hearts, except the eyes were not dilated.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute faces!
ReplyDeleteSally Ann
Zimmie, smooches from your Auntie Trace because you look just gorgeous in those photos! And Huffle is impressed with your fascination with the bird calls - it shows true honorary kitty-cat-ness.
ReplyDeleteAuntie Trace
Such beautiful photos...and absolutely beautiful dogs! Love the looks on their faces!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. TD has other ideas about birds.
ReplyDeleteWoos, the OP Pack
Is there a treat or special toy in front of you...?
ReplyDeleteCheers,

Hey Army Brats,
ReplyDeleteThose a really, really GReat portraits. You mom did a great job; a Navy Bravo-Zulu to her for the accomplishment. But, afterall, she had such a handsome guy and beautiful girl like Zim and Ammy to work with. We think that they are all OUTSTANDINg and wouldn't even attempt to rate any one of the shots better than anyother.
- TBH&K
Both of you look extra fluffy- did your mom give you a bath?
ReplyDeleteprincess Eva

ReplyDeleteMy mom can't close her mouth!

Wow. Gorgeous shots. You should have them framed. Ozzbourne-my lab-would have his head twisted from the bird sounds.
ReplyDeleteHey there, Karen
ReplyDeleteYou have truly OUTDONE yourself. Those pictures are totally awesome. The just elude the softness of the pooches fur and of course we just want to reach out and touch them. Beautiful colouring yet again.
Thanks so much for sharing them.

Oh Zimmie! You are gorgeous!! Those pics are absolutely incredible!!
ReplyDeleteUmmm, can you have your mom get some of Davie like that for me???
Phbbb
Hi Zim,
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful photos! It can even be a postcard collection. Mommy is admiring every single shot. She tried to use treats to keep us still for some snap shots but failed since none of us could contain our excitement whenever we see treats. What was she thinking!
Your mom's iBirdie app does the trick.
Enjoy the weekend!
-Frappie, Mocha, Sugar & the Piappies
How clever! The pictures are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWOW Tanner would have gone bananas if Mom did that to him. You guys are paying very close attention.
ReplyDeleteZim.... we love your portraits, especially the first and last one.
ReplyDeleteOur human uses a tennis ball to bribe us..hehe

Zimmy, those are some excellent photos of you. Again, your mom is very talented! Of course, with such a handsome subject I doubt she could get a bad photo!

ReplyDeleteMochi
Mom says she's going to have to download that app!
ReplyDeleteSteve
Um, really nice shots of the reds! especially just noticed their "opposite" eye colors of eachother. it's one thing to have 2 diff colored eyes, it's another to have a sibling with the opposite coloring of each eye! cool!
ReplyDeleteWoo there Everipup~
ReplyDeletePawsome portraits!! What a great looking pack woo all are.
Paws up fur FALL.
Your pal,

I am so in love with the portrait of Zim I wrote a little haiku-type
ReplyDeletething for him and I hope he likes it:
Zim is eye beautiful with one blue and one brown,
Does he see the world differently?
He thinks differently.
I'm no poet and I know it, but maybe you will like this.
Kisses,
Stella
