Photo Finish Friday

Ha roo, pups and cool cats. It's me - Zim - here for Photo Finish Friday. A couple days ago, Mom did a photo shoot of me and I thought I'd share the best with you. Ready?

Here's my first pose:

Zim2123

Clearly, something caught my attention.

Zim2131

It was one of the most fascinating things to come my way all day. Ammy was captivated, too:

How in the world...?

Zim2132

I sat, fascinated. Totally enchanted. My reverie allowed Mom ample time to focus and shoot. Here's the crème de la crème, if you will:

Zim2124

Mom calls this collection
Portrait of a Bird Watcher. No, there weren't birdies in the house, but Ammy and I thought there were. What had me so spell-bound? An iPhone App called iBird. Mom was playing the bird calls! As you can tell from my intensity, they are very life-like! I loved listening - and Mom loved getting the cool portrait shots! Something for everyone.

Play bows,

  7. Oh Zim - those are just the most amazing pictures!!! I think I like the 2nd one best - your eyes are INCREDIBLE!! I have seen some other doggies with different colour eyes but yours are by far the prettiest. Oh, and Ammy too, of course! :-) That picture of the 2 of you with your reversed eye colours is so cool!

  8. I would hate to be a bird if it meant you would look at me that way. It is way too intense for the Mango.

  9. Bewootiful. I would just like to add that humans always get the credit for taking bewootiful photographs. Please note that the only thing the human does is point the flashy beast and press and button. All the work goes in the modeling. Models get such flack for complaining about the hard work, but does anyone realize just how hard it is to be fluffy and adorable?

  11. You must have been a pro photog. in a different life - those are outSTANDING photos - seriously! I had to go look at your other blog re your bags (which are lovely) as are the pix of them. I've heard from some that it's hard to take a bad picture of beautiful subjects, but in this case, both the subject and the photo quality is gorgeous. I'm just so drawn to the pups - Ohhh how beautiful they are!
    Hugs xo

  20. Hey Army Brats,
Those a really, really GReat portraits. You mom did a great job; a Navy Bravo-Zulu to her for the accomplishment. But, afterall, she had such a handsome guy and beautiful girl like Zim and Ammy to work with. We think that they are all OUTSTANDINg and wouldn't even attempt to rate any one of the shots better than anyother.

You have truly OUTDONE yourself. Those pictures are totally awesome. The just elude the softness of the pooches fur and of course we just want to reach out and touch them. Beautiful colouring yet again.

  27. Hi Zim,
Really wonderful photos! It can even be a postcard collection. Mommy is admiring every single shot. She tried to use treats to keep us still for some snap shots but failed since none of us could contain our excitement whenever we see treats. What was she thinking!
Your mom's iBirdie app does the trick.

    Enjoy the weekend!

  36. I am so in love with the portrait of Zim I wrote a little haiku-type
thing for him and I hope he likes it:

Zim is eye beautiful with one blue and one brown,
Does he see the world differently?
    He thinks differently.

I'm no poet and I know it, but maybe you will like this.
