Serene Scenery Sunday

Hi everypuppy and everycat! It's me, Ammy, here with Serene Scenery Sunday. I had a hard time deciding what scenery pix to post today; it's a gorgeous, colorful time of year here and we have all kinds of beautiful things to show you! Stormy said I should post some sky photos I've been saving (she knows how much I love studying the sky!) and that we can post the other ones during the week. Isn't she sweet!?! Let's look to the sky!

Here are two looks at our sunset from the 24th of September.

Let's get closer to the sun!

Aren't the colors great? Here is a lovely sunset from the 29th:

That one actually wasn't taken here at Ao4 Headquarters like all of our other sunsets. Mom saw it on the way somewhere and pulled over to stop and shoot.

Here's our sunset from last night:

Mom just took that with her iPhone; the Nikon's battery was being charged. Not bad for the phone!

And speaking of last night... you know what last night was, don't youuuuuu........?

Ah-rooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Mom took lots of photos of the moon last night. They are all in our
Sunsets and Sky Shots set on FlickR, if you'd like to see them. Here are two of my faves:

Don't they just make you want to tip your snooter to the sky and howl!?!? Me, too. We actually did a lot of that last night. It made us feel very...... serene.

Love,
Ammy

PS: Mom had this song stuck in her head all night for some reason.......

  3. Do you have photoshop? I am wanting to make my food blog pictures better, but don't know if I want to spend the money when I am clearly not a qualified picture taker like yourself. Any thoughts?

  10. Beautiful Kansas sky shots! Me and mommy were walking last night during the full moon about 11pm and she tried to take a picture of it but it looks like a fuzzy sun against a black sky. Your mom did much better.

  27. Hey Ammy,
The moon sure lights up the paddock and pen. It's bright enough to see like in the daytime. We don't reserve snooter tipping and howling for full moon nights, but that does have a literary and theatrical aire about it. We howl at the sun, cluods, thunder, passing bicyclist, mailmen, the UPS man, etc. You just never know when a howl is warranted; like after Navy beats Army - that'll warrant some howling; we might even join in with dad.
