Now that I'm 15, I get to have all kinds of things I didn't get before - namely vet-approved people-food. Imagine my surprise when Mom called me over and told me she had a birthday treat for me.
"I can have what?!?!"
Mom said I can have a couple little tastes of pasta!
"Happy birthday to me..."
It was incredible! Let's have a little more!
"Oh, YEAH! Bring on the marinara sauce!"
"What do you mean 'that's not on the list'?"
Oh, well. I enjoyed the plain pasta - and it helped stimulate my appetite to eat my whole evening meal!
Life is good, everyone! Count your blessings and cherish your time with your loved ones.

Happy Birthday, Zimmy! You had pasta??? Really? AND you got your license......ohhh! Now that's a special birthday :-) Ten long years to wait before I can drive but maybe I can talk Mom into the pasta. Or maybe not- she's giving me 'that look'.

Hi Stormy! My Mom put a spoonful of homemade chicken veggie soup over my kibble last night and what do you think was in it? Homemade Noodles! The best of the pasta! Hit your Mom up for some of That sometime!

Ooh good job eating that spaghetti! CC-man likes pasta too. Mom works for a pasta company so she gets lots of that stuff for free, so we eat it a lot (I don't like it much though).

I've gotta admit. I'm sort of jealous now that I'm not 15! Just 11 more years to go! I'll be dreaming of pasta until then.
