At Least We Saw One!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  Mom and I went on a little adventure yesterday afternoon - just the two of us!  We were in search of a birdie called a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.  I've helped Mom find one before, so she probably figured I could find one again.

We did see one, but Mom couldn't get a shot fired off in time.  I found something far more interesting!  Check it out:

COWS!

Cows!  Can you see them over by the windmill?  They must be special cows, with permit passes, as per the sign.

I was thinking about hamburgers and stuff, but then Mom went a bit farther and we saw this:

Oh.  So apparently, the cows are students at Kansas State University.  We were way out in the sticks, so they must have a branch campus for them.

"I wonder what the cows major in?"

It was a mighty interesting adventure - even if Mom didn't get a photo of a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher!  I mean, who knew cows went to college?!?

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
