We Have A New Ride!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie, with some fairly exciting news here at Ao4 Headquarters.  Dad got us a new vehicle!  Check it out!

It's Honda's newest vehicle!

The all-new 2016 Honda HR-V!!!

That's right, an HR-V -- a Husky Recreational Vehicle!!!

We let Dad break it in for a while, then the other day we all loaded up to see what we thought.

One of the really cool features that Mom loves is called the "magic seat". Basically, you can flip up either one or both of the rear seats so you have a ton of floor-to-ceiling space. The Honda people say it's for transporting tall things, but Mom thought it would be a really easy way for Cam to hop into the back seat! Cam can jump from the driveway to the seat, but she prefers to go from driveway to vehicle floor to seat.  It's super-easy access!  Here's Cam, getting in for the first time:

"Oh, there's so much ROOM in here!"

Once Cam jumped in, Mom reached over to fasten her seatbelt, then brought the flipped-up seat back down, had a seat herself, then got buckled in, too.

"Oh, this is nice! And the ride is so smooth! How are things in the front seat, Maggie?"

The front seat is GREAT!

"This is one cool Husky Recreational Vehicle, Dad!"

Speaking of cool, the air-conditioning had me and Dad nice and cool up front, but what about Cam and Mom?

"Totally comfy back here, Mags!"

And apparently plenty of room for Cam to lay down, too!  The radio and a bunch of other stuff has a touch screen, which is AWESOME!  I figured out how to change stations in no time at all!

Here's another cool feature of the HR-V!

"Ooh, look!  A Snooter Rest!!"

Apparently, it's also called a "Maggie Get Your Snooter Out Of The Cup Holder", but that's mighty long.  I think Snooter Rest is much better!

Oh.  So where did we go?  To Tuttle Creek State Park, to see what we could see.  If you'd like to see any of Mom's bird shots from the day, please click here.

"Nah, I'm comfy.  I'll stay here."
"Me, too.  Ooh!  Mom, there's a birdie over there!"

Sometimes, when I go for rides, this happens:

"I'm starting to feel sooooooo sleeeeeeee-peeeeee...."

Fortunately, the HR-V comes with ...

"Zzz..."

... a Chin Rest.  How nice is that?!?

That's pretty much a wrap.

Cam and I definitely give our new HR-V - Husky Recreational Vehicle - our seal of approval!

Yours sincerely,

  1. That is so funny, our Mom totally wants one of them too! Her car is not quite old enough yet to trade in (she likes to drive them into the ground) but when she saw that car she's thinking about changing her mind! It looks perfect for transporting pups! So cool!

  3. Maggie, we think the Honda peeps made the front seat area with you in mind! We're glad you all liked it so much! Our daddy will be getting a new vehicle soon and it most likely will be the same color as your dad's since the other choice is the same color as Mommy's new car and that's too matchy match in the garage.

PeeS: One question. Why did it take from IMG 7979 to IMG 9543 before you could test it out? Shouldn't your test have been IMG 7980?

  8. Very nice new vehicle. And how nice of them to get you a Husky Recreational Vehicle. That is a cool feature with that magic seat. Ciara likes to get in on the floor too, but then she also likes to stay on the floor. Lightning just makes a giant leap to the seat. Enjoy your new HR-V and lots of luck with it.
