Loud Noises

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie, here with more about how the installation of our new doors went.  Some of you have commented about the loud noises and wondered how we coped.  It's true - things did get a bit noisy and Mom said we did great.

The guys used drills and hammers and saws and all kinds of stuff.  You may have noticed they even plugged their air compressor in 10 feet away from us, in the kitchen.  Here's how we responded:

If that doesn't play, please click here to view on our YouTube channel.

From an extremely young age, our breeder got Cam and me used to all kinds of crazy noises to desensitize us to bangs and booms and such.  Mom works hard to help us maintain that great start we got in life.  I'd say things are going splendidly!

How do you all cope with loud noises?

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. We hate loud noises! They interrupt puggy sleep time, which is pretty much all the time!

My mommy is subscribed to your youtube channel. xxooo MaddiethePug

  2. you both look completely unimpressed. :) when mom went out to volunteer at Best Friends, she got to work with their puppy class - they do the same thing....expose those puppies to house sounds and loud noises and everything they can think of.

us? we will be under the bed

  3. I bark bark bark bark BARK BARK BARK at loud noises. I have to make sure they know to stay away from me!

  4. we would slept through it all too - good job girls

  5. You are both so calm and collected!! Bilbo, Arty and I probably would do the same thing...but poor Jakey really gets spooked at sudden loud sounds and always runs to Mama!

  6. Just wanted you to know we stopped by. Mom's arm is so sore after a shot today that she finds it hard to type.

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

  7. I go in another room. The only loud noises I like are the ones I make!

  8. mol! that's like white noise for you pups! we'd have been UTB or ITC (under the bed or in the closet :D)

    pip, smidgen, minnie, hollie

  9. We most probably would have headed upstairs where we knew it was safe.

    Love ya lots♥
