Disappointing

Hello, everyone!  It's me, Cammie.  Today, by biped standards, is a lovely day!  When we left on our morning walk, it was already flirting with 50ºF (10ºC) and just kept getting warmer and warmer.  Mom and Dad were thrilled.  I guess in the same vein that they share our joy of snow, we were very happy - for them.

To celebrate, we walked all the way to our park.  We haven't taken that route in a long time, so it was really fun - all those new sights and smells!

"Isn't this awesome, Cam?!!?"
"Yes, it's wonderful!"

We walked a good, long while and were getting a bit warm.

"Maybe we could stop somewhere for a beverage!"
"What a great idea, Mags!  I'm getting thirsty!"

I knew exactly where to go.  Sadly, Mom said they were closed.  Closed?!?

"But .... I had my tastebuds all set for a grape soda."

We went just a bit farther and were disappointed by the discriminatory signs on the building.

"No German Shepherds?  So terribly unfair!"
"Yeah.  No German Shepherds who smoke, either."

It was a bit disappointing.  No grape soda, no German Shepherds.  Does your park have crazy restrictions like this?

Cammie!

  8. Wow, what a way to spoil a perfectly nice walkie! Hmpft I bet the soda would have been tasty and tickled your snooters. Surely no one would mind if you two strolled into that building. Hope you got a treat when you got home to make up for this. BOL

  9. Sheesh, just when your tongues were hanging out for a taste of grape! We had a big walk too and it was HOT. Silly Mom wouldn't let us take a sip of the water from the melted snow:( More of that No-No stuff!!!

Happy weekend and let's hope we can bring on that snow.

  15. That is just crazy that smoking German Shepherds aren't allowed around that place. At least you had a nice walk with your humans.

  17. Dad says that his is thankful that most German Shepherds that he knows don't smoke! No Shepherds! Gosh. No Shepherds until they need that Police Dog to do his work. Perhaps the next time we show up at a crime in progress ..we will just stay by the police cruiser playing Katz und Maus. Will see how they like that!
