Let's GO!

Greetings to all.  It's me, Maggie.  So there we were the other morning - Cam and I were all set to go on our walk, and Mom and Dad were still pulling on their winter coats, gloves, hats, whatever.

"Ready whenever you are, Mom!"
"I'm suited up and ready to GO!!!"

Honestly.  I don't know WHAT takes them so long!

"I thought we were never going to get going!"
"Well... maybe if you didn't play the 'Chase Me' game first..."

Well.  Sure.  I like to do zoomies before I get my harness on!  Where's the fun in just coming when you're called?  And why can't Mom run around the living room with her hat, coat, and gloves already on?!!?  That would streamline the process, too!

Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

  1. Hoomans waste a lot of time by shaving off their furs and then wearing clothes. It seems like that is just crazy! Glad you finally got out!

  3. They really do hold up the process, don't they? That's what comes of being born without fur, you know. Sadly they WERE born with the opposable thumbs that are so very useful.

  4. You bring up a MAJOR POINT, Margaret T.. THEY have all the Thumbs... So What's the Deal....?????? How can it take them SOOOOOOO long to do thingys WE want and NEED done... in a Timely Fashion???? Do you suppose that THEY have lied to us about the whole THUMBS thingy? Could it be that the Thumbs SLOW THEM DOWN??? THIS needs some investigation.

  5. Very good questions, Maggie! Lightning usually makes Mom chase him around the family room and then the kitchen table before he will go to the door to get his leash on. Silly boy.

We just got in from a delightful walk - Mom thought it was a bit too brisk and nippy.

  6. Our Mom always tell us that we already have our coats on, and that we have to wait for her to put her coat on. Boring.
So instead I take the extra time to play with my binky or to chase a pesky kitty. Win win!

  7. Oh grilz this is so funny. You might not know but Mom walks our next door neighbor dog Kasi the Border Collie on the days her mom works long hours.
Today was one of those days. So Mom got all suited up too 'cause it was threatening rain and it was cold. She put on all but one glove cause she knew as soon as Kasi heard the key in the door she would be like ready set go too. Mom had to take off the other glove so she could find Kasi's collar under all her furs. Off the went and a go time was had by all

  11. Momma takes FUREVER! And Jessie hasn't learned yet that we get to go a lot quicker if she'll come as soon as Momma calls. I want to get walking!!

  12. Hahaha, that sounds like our house! It takes longer to get ready, because the dogs are doing back flips and it's hard to get a harness on hyper-bouncing off the wall dog!

  13. You mean your mom doesn't wear her outdoor gear all the time so she's ready to go out immediately? What's wrong with her wasting so much walk time? Sheesh!
