Going Too Far!

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie!  As we've been telling you, there is a lot of road construction going on in our neighborhood.  And I do mean a LOT!  Everywhere we turn, it seems like we're seeing things like this:

"Well, this is a fine how-do-you-do!"
"Let's go through anyway!"

We were able to go around and get to the other side of the big road, carefully picking our way through things.  That's how we got to the park yesterday to see the cows!  On the way home, though, we hit a major snag.  Check this out:

"WHAT?!?  The sidewalk, too?!?"
"This is going way too far!"

Fortunately, they haven't closed our section of the Hudson Trail yet, so we took a detour down there.

"Yet. They haven't closed the trail yet.  Oooh!  I see mud!"

On the plus side of things, we got a super-long walk on a relatively cool morning!  But seriously, closing the sidewalks is going too far!!!

    Don't all those road construction crews know that a Siberian has got to walk? That's what we do! Tell them to get that stuff out of the way!

    That is a bit much, Maggie! we're glad you still have the Hudson trail and hope that stays open for you pups. On a good note, you are enjoying longer walkies :) purrs it stays cool for you all!
