Cat Walk Poses

Ha roo, pups and cool cats.  It's me, Zim!  Before I get started, many of you asked what I was watching  on yesterday's post.  It was a show on The Golf Channel called The Big Break.  It was fascinating, as you could tell!  Sadly, no popcorn or other snacks were provided.  On to the news of the day!

Our friend very sweet friend Tiger Lily gave us this wonderful award:

I'm supposed to link to the kit-cat who gave us the award, give 5 reasons why we think life is grand, and pass the award along to 5 friends.  Cool!

First off, many thanks to you, Tiger Lily!  We are just getting to know you and feel blessed by your friendship!  This award is the icing on the cake!  Or ... the freshly baked salmon on top of the kibble.  Mmm... salmon.

Not too long ago, I posted a list of my top five reasons I think life is grand.  Storm said I should post a link back to it, then do a cool post and dedicate it to Tiger Lily.  Sounds like a great idea!  Before I do that, I would like to pass this award along to the following bloggers:

Bren, over at BG_Garden Blog
Caroline, at Pink Lemonade Bags
Everyone at the Beaded Tail
Angus Mhor and his new little sister Tallulah

That's a good mix of bipeds, kit-cats and fellow pups.  I was trying to think outside the box; Stormy says I'm good at that.  Ha roo roo roo!

Since Tiger Lily gave us the award and she's a cat, I thought I'd give all of you a little photo essay of some new poses I've done up on the cat walk.  See the connection?  It was Ammy's idea.  Let's get to it!

Start simply.  Just some feety-feet sticking out is a good way to begin.  This intrigues the bipeds, gives them time and incentive to go grab the camera, and makes them want more:

After that, throw an ear in.  Not too much!  Just enough.  Like so:

Move on to a display including your snooter:

Nice, isn't it?  Then let them see part of your handsome face:

That was a side-shot.  Give them a good look at your whole face now:

Quickly now!  Turn away!

You don't want to give them too much!

Did you get all that?

I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial.  Tiger Lily, I dedicate that body of work on the cat walk to you!  Many, many thanks for the Life is Grand award - and even better, thank you for your friendship!

Play bows!
Zim

  23. We need a catwalk. But we couldn't allow Brice up there. He thinks he needs to jump off everything and doesn't even use stairs anymore.

    Heya Zim,
Guess what? Dad says that we are playing a game called weekend catch up, but all we seem to be doing is reading blogs and making comments. It's fun though, but it doesn't make us pant.
Why do you have a cat walk if no cats live there? Are dogs allowed to use cat walks? Shouldn't they use dog walks instead?
We have the three cats, well one cat and two puppy sized cats, and we don't think that we have a cat walk.

  31. I love the feety-feets picture, Zim. I think it makes a most interesting view from below. Can your mom and dad identify you by your feets? Do they know the difference between Ammy feets and Zimmy feets?

Thank you for the awesome award! Life IS grand!
