Oops, I Ate It, Part I

Ha roo, pups and kit-cats! Zim here, with our first installment of the "Oops, I Ate It" tag. Lots of our friends are coming clean about little incidences of helping themselves to food, so we thought we'd play. Today's my turn.

The rules of the tag say, "when accepting this award you must blog about the food you have stolen when your humans weren't watching. If you have never stolen any food, you must be a very good pup or kitty. You can accept this yummy tray of cookies as your reward!!! Next add the logo of this award to your blog (optional), then nominate at least 5 other furry blogs and let them know by leaving them a message on their blogs." Here's the cool tray of cookies:

So... you're probably thinking that since I was a wild man when I first joined the family I must have stolen all kinds of treats, right?

How could you accuse me like that?

Sure, there was a little incident with some ruby red slippers... Mom's friend's hands (relax, they were fabric - see item 2 here)... a couple other things... but none of those are food! I'm just not that into food.

The most I do is munch down on the herbs Mom tries to grow on the deck. If she didn't want me to eat them, she'd hang them upside-down like she did with the tomatoes. Don't you think? I wonder why she isn't growing any this year?

Ha roo roo roo!

Tune in tomorrow for Part II!

Play bows,
Zim

  5. Heehee! I love the ruby slipper story! (But what is it with humans checking our poop when they think we've eaten something that we maybe shouldn't have? I've got a story about a pair of my Dad's headphones... Nevermind...) I've got to work on that innocent look. So far, I manage to look pretty guilty, apparently. Can't wait to hear from the rest of the army!

  9. I thought she was growing things upside down to make it easier for you. Now you won't have to bend over to eat them, they will eventually grow to your mouth level.

  10. Hey there all you four guys.
Congrats with that award, but I agreed - it could get embarrassing. I was hoping not to get it (because I'd have to tell about some really dodgy things), but it seems that Paco, Milo and Maya had tagged me. Oh dear!!!
But aren't you too being evasive - surely there are some really bad things you have got your teeth into?
Waiting in anticipation for the next instalment!

  14. I don't steal food either, but maybe its that my Mom is home most of the time and if she would leave anything out,and I would snitch it, she would let me know what she thought about it! And you KNOW it wouldn't be good.

Shoes, and clothes and stuff like that holds no appeal for me. This is an award I don't qualify for!

    Kisses,

    Stella

    Hey Zim,
Not everyone is a food reward dog. At least you can't claim that you don't get into mischief. Just about all of us are food thiefs. Shelby Belle and Jack are like canine Robin Hoods that surf the counters and kitchen island to steal from the rich and share with us poor. Abby is always carryin g mom's slippers around but she just hides them. Those were great stories.

  22. That's a very good point Zimmie! If mum didn't want me to eat her plants, she'd put them where I can't reach them.

No wonder you're my bestest friend.

    Hi Zim,
If you're not into food, I thoroughly recommend toothpaste - it is so delicious! You can find it in the room that your hoomans have baths in.
    So fresh and so clean!
