Photo Finish Friday

Ha roo, pups and cool cats! It's me, Zim, here with Photo Finish Friday! It was mighty busy around Headquarters this week, so I thought I'd show you a couple of the highlights - just so you can get an appreciation for how much hard, hard work I put in. Ready to get started?  Let's go!

Mom said she wanted me to do a photo shoot the other day, so I laid down and gave her my best smile!

Me.  Zim.  With my million dollar smile.

Exhausting work!  Then Mom said she wanted to do close-ups and I didn't really have to smile.

How's that for a more serious look?

Then she said that wasn't quite what she was after.  How much more work does she EXPECT out of me?!?!  I did a little manipulation with my ears and came up with this pose:

Quite the nuanced change, don't you think?  That takes SO much effort!

Then Mom broke it to me -- she meant the super-duper close-ups she's been taking every week.  See...  Mom is chronicling my battle with Zinc-Responsive Dermatosis (ZRD) via photos for one of our vets.  My case is going to be written up for a medical journal or a paper or something, so I really do try my best to help out.  I have to hold REALLY still so she can do "macro work" with her camera and take good, clear shots for the good people at KSU.

After Mom got her photos, she gave me a few Stinky Goodness Jerky Treats as a reward, then I went on to doing some of the more active things that we Siberians are known for.  You know... like looking for my kit-cat pals ...

"Callie?  Are you out there?"

...and other important things.

Thank goodness the weekend's almost here. I really need some rest!

Play bows,

  1. How handsome you are. I have done some close-up sort of photos too but I have a yellow nose. Not quite the same thing really.

Love the feety pose though. Gotta dash and snooze though ...

  2. Every time Zim looks for Callie, the calico cat, I think he's calling our puppy "Callie"! And I haven't even met her yet! LOL

    He's certainly a handsome boy!

  3. Zim, you are one deliciously handsome pooch!

  4. I love all those photo's but the first one is brilliant.. Look out for me Zimmy cause I might just fly in on the boogie mat to visit because I know you like kitty pals.. Hugs GJ nxx

  5. You have a very expressive face! What a pretty dog you are! :D

  6. Those are some pawsome photos, Zim. (and now our mom wants to know why we can't pose so nicely.) That's furry khool woo are making medical history. We hope your zinc-deficiency is overcome by your Zim-efficiency at healing!

  11. That was quite a nice smile! And the slight change of ear pose... you could be on Americas Next Top Model!

  12. Zimmie you are so handsome! And such a good boy to pose for your mum like that.

  13. Hi, Zim!
    You did a great job!
Your mom got pawesome pictures of you!
    Kisses and hugs

  14. Zim - we are hoping you got paid overtime for all of that effort.

  15. You are so handsome, Zim! We love your winning smile!

    Maggie and Mitch

  16. Wow, you WERE really busy. We love the close up photos. Good luck with your medical thingy. You look so healthy to us!

    Drools and licks,
    Minnie and Mack

  17. Gosh, Zim, you look great to me. I don't see any zinc on your face. I much prefer the smiling face. Even though it is a serious medical journal, no reason to look so stern, right?

  18. You sure do look cute Zim. Those photos shoots can be hard work.
