I didn't think Mom wanted us to get that close of a look, so I gently suggested to Zim that he get his snooter out of there.

About then, Mom started her "NoNoDavyNO!" thing, saying it's too early for me to start playing and stuff. Hey! I wasn't playing, I was serious! (Ha woo.)
Anyway, Zim got bored with it all decided to cooperate and do a nice "down" pose by the lilacs.

Mom asked me if I'd like to lay down or at the very least look at the camera.

I declined either one. I mean ... I can't make it too easy for her, can I? Besides, she didn't have any cookies. And really, if she's taking pix of both of us ... and wants us both to look at her ... she needs to come prepared.
She did get this nice profile shot of me, with the lilacs as the backdrop:

ReplyDeleteI love your profile with the lilacs Dave. Our Korean lilac won't be blooming for at least a couple of weeks. We had that nice warm weather for a while, but it's been more seasonable lately and slowed down the blooming. Enjoy your day boys.

ReplyDeleteYou asked about our lilac yesterday...yes, it's some kind of tree and is supposed to be expensive or rare or something. However, previous owners planted it too close to the fence and it's bending over now. We expect it won't last long, but it smells DEVINE all over the entire back yard!
