Serene Scenery Sunday

Hello, everyone! It's me, Cammie!  Maggie and I got to go out birding with Mom and Dad almost every day this past week.  It was so much fun - a ride AND walks, all in one!  What could be better?!?

One of the days, we drove out to the Stockdale Cove area of Tuttle Creek Lake.  Not much was going on, but we made the most of the trip.  We walked down by the  water  ice and took in all the wonderful sights and sounds and smells!

"Feel that breeze!"
"Hey, Cam... I have an idea of what we can do!"

We ALL know what's coming ... right?

"BOOM!"
"Uff!"

Very enjoyable ... if not serene!

Mags and Me

You can see the Big Blue River behind us. We looked for Eagles there!

Sometimes we get out and walk around there. Here I am from yesterday:

You can tell from my shadow that I was having a TON of fun!

Here are Maggie and me down by the frozen River Pond:

"Oooh!  Goose poop!"
"BIRDIES!!!"

We saw Bald Eagles out there! Take a look - an adult is on the left and a juvenile is on the right:

"Dad?  Do I have Mom's nose?"

Pretty cool, huh? Mom was all kinds of happy about seeing them. We took Dad up the road a bit, so Mom could get lots of shots of the eagles.

We didn't want Dad to make any loud noises that would scare the eagles off or anything!
