Raining Cats and Dogs!

Hi everypuppy! It's me, Amber! We've been getting just a ton of rain lately! Have you heard that old expression - "It's raining cats and dogs"? LOOK!

I got one!

Nabbed him right out of the sky! Must be raining just cats here, though, I didn't see any dogs flying through the air. Hee hee hee!

Love,
Ammy

  1. You didn't see that dog fly through the air? We did - it's you, Ammy! Ha-roo roo! Good catch! Maybe some of your rain will head our way and cool things off over here.

PS: Does Dave still want an ocean? Maybe you can dig one in the yard and all the rain will fill it up?

  2. Well a damp cat coming at you from out of the sky is worth one in the bush, I always bark.

Or have I got my proverbs confused?

Hmmmm! Methinks I will have to go study a bit more before I make any more comments! Hee Hee! I love those photos of you with the flying cat though!

  4. Well, I have just checked my volume of Dogverbs.

And it seems the correct Dogverb I should have quoted was this one:

"A Damp Cat falling down from the sky,
Is nearly as good as a Cat served in a pie."

I hope no Cat reading your blog was offended by my comments, no offence was intended. My Poetry vibe just got the better of me.

Love and Licks to you Amber, my jokey friend!

  7. I don't know, it looks like you're in the air. I wonder what Wilbur would do if I tossed him to you to catch.

  13. Ammy,
    Great eye/snooter coordination.

For a moment I thought it was Oswald or your cat burglar from a few weeks ago.

  14. I am a bit worried about the treatment of cats at your house Ammy. I know I told you not to trust the orange ones though. So maybe it's all okay. I did love your big leap in the air to catch big mean kitty.

  19. Wow Ammy, nice jump! I'll imagine that it was the nasty cat who scratched my face that you just grabbed!
We've been having a LOT of storms here, no fun. Last night it didn't rain that badly, but we had LOTS of lightning striking the ground around here. Scary!
