Here we are by some cool trees. Lots of messages are left here, so we always stop and check to catch up on all the news of the neighborhood.
We went all over the place, then started heading up the hills back to Ao4 Headquarters. This one biped walked past us and didn't even say anything, let alone stop and give us ear scratchies. Remember what we said about that yesterday? Check out Zimmie:
"Hey! Hey, lady! Where are you going?" |
We couldn't believe she just went past us like that! (And of course Zim's message was strictly a mind-meld -- we don't bark at people!)
Anyway, we shook it off and kept going. Mom reassured us that it was that person's loss and said she'd give us extra attention herself. Woo! Look at the smiles on our faces after she said that:
Zim. Smiling. |
Me. Dave. Smiling. |
When we were almost at the top of the hill, somebody started shilly-shallying. Or is that dilly-dallying? Or lolly-gagging? Whatever the case, I had to spring into action to get him to get it in gear!
That's really the best way to get him going. And it's mighty fun, too. Nothing wrong with having a little fun along the way, right? And a little husky wrestling spree. Woo.
Here's Zim, enjoying our sunny afternoon:
"Me... and... my... shaaaaaaaaaa... dow! Strolling down the avenue...." |
Have I mentioned lately how fun it is to have a kid brother?
"Hey, look, Dave! My shadow moved when we turned the corner!" |
He makes every walk an interesting adventure!
Thanks for coming with us, everybody!
Luv,
Dave
That looks like fun! Long walks on mild days are the best.
ReplyDeleteI bet that lady was a c-a-t person, Dave!
ReplyDeleteSam
The nerve of some people to just walk right by without acknowledging how great you both are! Would never happen if that were me.
ReplyDeleteCindy
What a R-U-D-E lady. We would have stopped to chat and have some wrestling time!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe there are people who don't say hi to dogs...how rude!
Well...let's just keep on wagging anyway :)
For some reason I thought you were going to start singing My Sharona. I have no idea why.

Darwin hates when people walk by without saying hi. Though at the same time she doesn't like too much attention from strangers, and only really wants a quick hello and ear rub.
ReplyDeleteshadows are sneaky things
ReplyDeleteStop on by for a visit
