Ha roo, pups and cool cats. It's me, Zim. I was just wondering ... does anyone know what "Would you please get down so I can make the bed?" means?!? Hmm ... yeah...
Me, neither!
Let me know if you come up with anything.
Play bows,
Zim
I think that is some kind of foreign language or something. I have heard it also but just ignore it.... Another quilt sighting -- LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteNina is always the last one out of bed so we have to wait until she gets off until we can make our bed too.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Yea I have heard this too. I don't get it. After a while of "get down so I can make the bed" it is usally followed by "Do you want a YUMMIE?" Now that I understand and I come a runnin.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
I think it means, "Excuse me your highness. Is there anything I can get you to help you rest more soundly?"
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what it means, but that quilt is beautiful!

ReplyDeletePretend you don't hear it! You will have sweet dreams while napping on that beautiful quilt.

nope - we have no idea what that means....though that might be cause mom shuts the bedroom door when we run out for breakfast (and she doesn't make the bed - MOL)
ReplyDeleteWe don't git that furry much BUTT if mom iz tryin'tu lay where we already r then she will rudely push us over in a difrent space.
ReplyDeleteShiloh'n Shasta
We reckon it means just lie back and relax - you make the pretty quilt look even better.
ReplyDeletexxx
We have never heard that phrase, nor have seen any actions that could be interpreted as an example of that activity.
ReplyDeleteRemy and Flash
I think it means "stretch and turn the other side." That's what I always do! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCheers
Maxx
I hear that sometimes too Zimmie. I have no idea what it means either.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
They sure come up with nutty sayings
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
It's just something humans say to amuse themselves for some reason. It doesn't really mean anything.
ReplyDeleteoh, Zim! we wish we could help you out but we don't know what that means either. We don't think you need to move. After all, your folks are just going to sleep in the bed again later anyways!
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Hmm... not a clue!! Humans spend so much time chattering I actually tend to just tune them out BOL!
ReplyDeleteJackal
Nope, never heard that one, but it sounds a lot like "hey, move, you guys are blocking the hallway".
ReplyDeletejack & moo

I have no idea what it's like to be on my mom and dad's bed. I think you should stay right where you are, Zim!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch
LOL - most days are beds don't get made because of pups in the middle!
ReplyDeleteSam
Why do they have to make the beds when they just mess them up again? Silly humans. :)
