Anyway, like many of you, we try to get all of our outdoor fun activities taken care of early in the morning, then just relax in the air-conditioned house the rest of the day. Some of you go for walkies in the evening but here in the great state of Kansas, it's still too hot.

Mom said it was indeed still too hot after dinner; I got the thermometer and took a look myself.

Yep. Quarter 'til seven and it was 103 outside. 103.1℉, if that makes a difference. That's 39.5℃ for any international readers following along. I guess that's cooler than it had been, but still mighty hot, hot, hot!!!

Maggie had a good idea, but it didn't really help.
We're already done with all of our big outdoor stuff this morning, now we'll play inside games! Keep cool, everyone!

yoW! we're having similar temperatures, though yesterday we might have been a degree cooler, plus no humidity. Wriggley takes our mom for walkies at 10 at night! last night they both said it was still yucky hot. Stay cool!

ReplyDeleteOMD that is hot. Here we are in the 30's and it ain't great and the nights are hot too. We are melting as no one has air conditioning over here. Ho hum hopefully it will cool down a tad tomorrow. Have a super Saturday.

And we thought it was HOT here - you have it even worse. Funny day today with lots of cloud, some scattered raindrops and lots of heavy humidity - yuck!!! We are hoping for some tasty wallymelon to cool us off.

That's WAY too hot! We've been in the low 90s, which is WICKED HOT for us (we don't have air conditioning because we are in the mountains, and it is supposed to be cool up here!). So Mom walks us in the morning, and then we sneak out for a super short walk in the evening because some of us don't like doing our business in the yard....

Wow, that's even hotter than us here in Texas! And we're about to have a polar bear vortex roll through, so temperatures will be in the low 90s and 80s all week!
