We're In This Thing Together!

Hello, everyone.  It's me, Cammie.  Yesterday, I had a vet visit scheduled - just a routine trip - and thought Mom and I would head on out at the given time.  Imagine my surprise when Mom called the vet and arranged for Maggie to come with me!  Even Dad came!  (Something about avoiding "chaos" in the car ... I'm not sure what that was all about!)  Anyway, it was great to have everyone together!

Dad drove, and I rode shotgun!

"Are you sure you know how to drive?  You're not singing like Mom does.  Let's crank up the AC!"

Maggie and Mom sat in the backseat together:

"Nice and roomy back here!"

It was a great trial run for our new seat belt system with our Julius-K9 harnesses!  They are really easy to use - and provide great safety!

We hung out in the waiting room for a while, then our students came and took all four of us to the exam room. They did exams on both Maggie and me, then our vet and vet tech/friend came in and did another exam on us, then we relaxed in the room while they talked about how wonderful we are. Or something like that. I offered to hold Mom down, so they could stick a scope down her ears, too:

"I've got her leg!"

... but apparently Mom and Dad were just along for the ride.

"You're getting off really easy, you know, Mom?"

Maggie hung out by Dad and practiced doing cute poses for a while.  This is her Prime Minister pose:

And here she is, doing the slight Head Tilt:

Maggie had scouted the room and knew where we'd go next:

"Here's the door!"
"Good find, Mags."

Here we are, posing with Dad out front after our appointment was all over:

It was a good visit - and Mom and Dad said the seat belt system worked so well and we did so well in the RAV4 that we can go on trips together more often!  Yea!  We love doing fun things together!

I hope all of you stay safe during the fireworks for Independence Day.  Stay inside, have your people put something loud on the TV or radio, and make sure you use a strong leash when you go outside for potty breaks!  Safety first!

Cammie!
