Serene Scenery Sunday

Hello, everyone!  It's me, Cammie, here with Serene Scenery Sunday.  Mags and I thought we'd head out back and show you around our garden a bit.

"Are you ready?"
"Yes, are all of you ready to soak up the mellow vibes in the garden?"

Great!  Then let's go!

Since Maggie and I were so well-behaved and calm, Mom let us explore a bit while she took some quick shots of the Rose of Sharon:

The Crape Myrtle:

And one of our Coneflowers:

Then she asked us to pose by the daisies.

"Gotcha, Mags!"
"Gotta catch me first!"

Can you see them, off behind us to the left? That's where they are. Did I mention Mom wasn't holding our leashes?  (Fear not, our back yard is fully fenced in, or Mom NEVER would have dropped our leads.)

So anyway, here are the daisies:

For some reason, Mom didn't want our help with the tomatoes, so we went up and hung out on the lower deck.

We have no idea why that photo is crooked. I think Mom might have been overly excited about this:

That's right - the tomatoes are starting to ripen! That made Mom all kinds of serene! As we all headed up the deck stairs, we offered Mom some congratulations on her tomato crop:

"Congrats on the tomatoes, Mom.  This calls for some treats!"
"Yes.  Yes, it does, Mom."

We hope you enjoyed our garden tour, and are feeling more serene now.  We thought we'd leave you with one more photo; this is us, relaxing in the evening, as we watch TV:

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!

  2. It all looks so wonderful. Why do the mom not trust you with the tomatoes? I know why my MOM doesn't.... I eat them off the vine. She fixed that problem by planting me y very own plant and she keeps it on the patio where I can help myself. She is amazed that I only pick the ripe ones. Duhhhh I know when to pick them and when to let them soak up the suns goodness.
    Blessings,

  8. Lovely flower photos but we think that picture of you two "posing by the daisies" was just a tad less than serene. But you two sure were having fun.
