Serene Scenery Sunday Meets The Sunday Funnies

Greetings to all!  It's me, Maggie.  Cam and I went through a bunch of photos Mom has taken out at the lake, thinking we'd share some wonderfully peaceful pictures with you to help you relax today.  What we found, though, was a pack of pelican pix that made us laugh.  We thought that would be just as good, maybe even better, than serenity!  Ready to take a look at this peculiar pelican?  Let's head out to the lake!

Is it just me or does it look like his head's slipping off?  What a cool guy!

OK, maybe that's not exactly how it all went ... but who knows what those birdies were doing!??!

    Aw lovely birds. Mum thinks pelicans are so funny, when she was little she read a book about a window cleaner who used a pelicana s his bucket.

    Oh it brought a smile indeed!!! Pelicans are very silly and odd. Butt you know what? I think they are fulfilling their purpose when they make us laugh. Laughing is just as good as serene.

    Mom says that the only time that she sees a real pelican is when she goes to FL to visit with her mom and dad. They are HUGE to see in person!
