We got our exercise early in the morning, with great all-family walks:

The walks were followed by some very important indoor activities; here I am, saving my mom from a snake attack:

| "Maggie! Maggie! Help! The snake's got me!" "I'm on it, Mom! C'mere, Sneaky Snake!!!" |
And, naturally, I was duly rewarded for my valiant efforts:

| "Maggie? Would you like some--" "WATERMELON!!!" |
 |
| "Ca--oh! You're already here! Good girl!" "Did someone say 'watermelon'?!?!" |
No one needs to call us twice when melon is at stake. Actually, no one needs to call us at all. We know when Mom's carving one up and we come running!
All in all, a mighty good weekend! We hope yours was just as great!

Hey Girls, does your human have the watermelon slicer thing? Mine does, it makes the perfect slices fit for a pup. If she doesn't, then she needs to get one because I heard your human is getting a different type of washer... I'm not sure how I feel about this.

You two are always up before the sun-what a beautiful sunrise! So glad you got some watermelon-sometimes Hunter will eat it, sometimes not. It is so hot here today and we are under a Tornado Watch-which happens quite a lot. I can't believe how bold that coyote was, marking your house and all. I have heard that they are so sneaky and will use a female in heat to lure out males and also act like they want to play to get dogs away from their homes(only to kill them). Hope you have a great evening.

I've been waking my mommy up before the sunrise too but she doesn't get out of bed to go on a walk yet. How'd you train your mom to do that? Hope you all stay cool!

You all sure do get up early. The sun is a little higher in the sky by the time we can get our pawrents out of bed. What a great way to end your weekend with some nice melon.
