Garden Chores

Hello, everyone!  It's me, Cammie!  I know we're late posting today.  There's been a lot going on. The garden is taking more and more of Mom's time, as she moves plants and rocks around, does the weeding, and tries to keep up with the watering.  I mean, with the temps hovering around 100 since who knows when, she has to water every day - sometimes more than once.  It's getting out of control.

The other morning, Maggie sent her a strong mind-meld message.

"Get some help out here, so we have more time together!  Less time in the garden, more time in the house with us!!"
"Yeah, Mom.  Listen to Maggie's mind-meld!"

Maggie had a good idea, about getting help, but ...

That wasn't exactly what we had in mind!!! How about you - do you help with garden chores?

    Haha, we help mommy all the time. We bark, we pee on the leave she rakes and we generally get in her face while she's outside. xxoo MaddiethePug

    I had mum and dad, and then grandma and grandpa, all chase me around the garden the other day! It was Good Times for me!

    WE have our grandson mowing the lawns for us each week-he does it for free(not really we pay him 50% of what he charges others)-he uses our mower and hubby drives him to several of the yards. So it's all good. I do most of the watering and caring for the plants and hubby cleans the water feature. So glad you chipped in and helped your mom. Stay cool.

    we could just see our Wriggley carrying that watering can. sure, he might've spilled half the water but he wouldn't give up :) we prefer to snoopervise chores our mom is doing but it is also fun to hamper...er...we mean help...

    YES we do help with the Hard Yard and Garden chores... butt since we gotted OUR OWN... GIANT John the Deers Tractor and Mower and wagon... it is MUCH EASIER on us...

    Mama cut back on the gardening this year because we are traveling so much, but we do try to have Mama get out and appreciate the neighborhood gardens!
